Do you meet swinging couples for a regular night out?

Hi all. We were thinking of putting a meet up in a couple of weeks to meet a couple for a regular night out with drinks dancing and a good laugh. The reason for this is we want to make some long term friends who we can have friendships with but also be able to openly talk about this lifestyle. Is this something you guys have tried? And did you form some great long term friendships?

This is something we like to do but it isn't easy. It's great to meet and talk openly and we've found that organised socials are the best way to do it.

We go to nandos, the cinema and out drinking. Made some great friends from swinging

Not yet, there have been couples we've met a few times socially and we'd love a long term friendship with a couple so we could just hang out sometimes.

We assumed that this is the ultimate goal, good friends which we can socialise with and possibly enjoy each others company in more playful ways...

Have seen (but as yet not established) such couples and the way they interact and behave around each other, it looked so natural and just bloody awesome...

Does swinging only have to evolve around random sexual experiences with (relative) strangers?

No it doesn't but finding a good dynamic four ways is difficult."

Tottally agree as part of a couple on here in the past it was very difficult to find a four way dynamic that suited x

We have had some great social evenings with couples, single men and in organised settings, its so nice to be able to say "I love being tied up" and have someone reply "so do I, pass the sugar". It's also great to be able to flirt with someone else's partner and their partner flirt with yours

Exactly, that is I guess our ultimate goal. Just close friendships, not living in each others pockets mind you. Just people that we have learnt & they have learnt to be comfortable in each others company

I think that unless people are very honest and have excellent communication the risk of tension arises however many are involved.

Me & Kim meet lots of our swinging friends just for social nights out & holidays etc, its not always about the sex.

We have moved friends help decorate their homes etc all the normal stuff you do with vanilla friends.

We have this with several friends. It's one of the things that seems to have naturally evolved with some of the people we've met through this past time.

J and some of the female counterparts of the couples and single women we know also meet up quite often for a meal and a laugh. It's been a really good way to introduce some of the new couples to the scene here to the concept of swinging in a reassuring way to help them feel more confident. It also feels j bit naughty to be having such open conversations as we do in a public place!

We have met people on here that are good friends now. We do day to day stuff like shopping and going for meals and the best bit is we can be flirty safe in the knowledge that it is reciprocated. Also when we get alone time we can still get a little bit naughty

That's easy to achieve and how most people play it. It hasn't happened to us but we have seen friendships form very successfully leading on to parties, social occasions, regular meets etc. It seems to work both ways and that's how it should be in my opinion

I used to think that and we never looked for it but once it happened, it's been a real blast...with some though, we've slipped into the "friend zone" but then good friends are always a blessing however you find them...

I have made a few girlie friends on here that we frequently go and have brilliant nights out. We have laugh, drink, dancing and chat about swinging and experiences and no sex involved at all... Just a good old fashion night out...

Same here, we wouldn't want to form friendships with guys we met while swinging, swinging is simply for sex.

We don't do the "friendship" thing in vanilla life much either as we spend all our non working time together and have no need or interest in friends.

We've managed to make friends on here, and the sex gets better, in my opinion.

We have two single female friends, a couple, and a single male friend. We don't really play with the single females, have played with the couple and would again, and often play with the single male.

For me (fem), I have to build up a good rapport with someone to really enjoy the experience. Having said that, we've also played more spontaneously, though this is rare.

It all depends on what you want from the site, really.

We must be very luck ..about a year ago after 1 message between us on here .we met a cpl for a social..and we would say we met our best mates that night .we meet regular for fun meals drinks we have even met each others families ( socially) you do form an attachment / bond but the relaxed atmosphere just makes for better fun ...Just hope you find that special cpl like we did

Have made some good friends through swinging who we see socially. Days out with the kids, they even had my daughter stay round for a few days over the summer.

But would I answer a meet request for someone looking for long term friends? No.

We have some lovely friends who we also play with and in our short time swinging have made some lovely new friends, some we've played with some not, in fact off out for hubby's birthday for a meal with some lovely people met via swinging for a vanilla meal next Saturday.
