Tell him to check out 'Honest Amish' beard balm and wax, when it gets to a good length.. It'll need importing, but it's incredible for growth and conditioning

I currently have a beard but at my age its down to not being arsed to shave and giving your skin a break..love my beard when I have it, makes me a feel a bit more grrrr!..however as we all know there's a huge trend again with beards and younger men see it as really big deal as if its a 'new' thing, makes me chuckle when they have the twin set... The beard, hair almost bald around the back and sides then the hair on top matching the beard length...its like a gang of Mr upsidedown heads...

Oh and and an arm full of tattoos that mean nothing but look 'cool'

Men have been growing beards since time began some women love some hate em, try not to analyse it..you should be asking yourself if YOU like it...because a lot of people try to grow beards and end up looking like they've sellotaped pubes to their chin.

I'm a proud owner of a beard.. And I'd imagine also the same hair cut that you're on about also..

I chose to grow facial hair (and keep it) due to the angular nature of my chin really.. I look a lot younger without it (beard, not chin) and I feel it shows a good amount of willpower and determination to keep it going strong.

Also I'm a huge advocate of top facial hair grooming.. Balms, combs and washes
