hi folks forgive a new couple asking a silly question but its one that we just thought of ,,, ok you have done the social meet ,,all is good ,,and you set up proper meet .... on the day/night all is going well drinks and stuff then back to the hotel room that we have booked ,, now my question .. are we expected to accommodate all night ? as in they get to stay in our room all night ? or at what point is it acceptable to say that was great and ask the other couple/ guy girl to leave so you can be together as couple ... obviously we wouldnt expect a single girl to have to make her own way home late at night unless its taxi distance and we would pay

Discuss this before you get to the meet and agree it with the other couple. Then at the appropriate time say something like "can we make you a cup of tea before you go?"

Also from experience talk to your prospective meets about both your expectations on everything and make sure you're all on the same page. There are no hard and fast rules and expectations vary widely as we discovered

Agree...always set rules beforehand. What if they drive to the hotel and then have a few drinks. You can't kick them out then x

As others have said, I'd agree beforehand...I wouldn't expect to stay the whole night with a couple unless mutually agreed, but if I'm staying in an hotel and invite a guy, I'd make it clear whether an all nighter was on offer
