Swinging broke mine! But in a way a good job it did, now divorcing after 20 years married, the grass is greener (her words) bloody hassle of selling houses solicitors etc, but all in all a change for the better! Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Funny enough she doesn't swing now and I do!

Broke mine too, but like you it was for the better, was in a sexless relationship for 8 years so we did this so we could both have a sex life, we didn't play together we used to meet couples for separate room swap, he met a woman while swinging and left me for her

If it hadn't been for swinging he would have never of met her and we'd probably still be plodding along so all I can say is......thank you swinging

I'd suggest your relationship was probably already dead and swinging was just the final nail in the coffin before it was buried.

Maybe it just highlights your relationship. If it's strong it strengthens it? If it's weak it breaks it?

It's like a relationship test. But a very, very fun one.

No idea I would never make assumptions on other people's relationships, I'm sure some happy couples like separate room fun, you can't always judge others by how you feel about swinging

Maybe it is. I always wanted same room, towards the end she started pushing for seperate or even meeting in hotels on her own. Everyone's different so I wouldn't say either way in your case, just look for the signs I guess.

Far point, you shouldn't judge. However, from the above comments, it appeared that that was a trend with some prior to their marriages failing.

Signs are hard to spot sometimes

There are a few single profiles on here who claim to be married but their partner does not play

Well its made ours, she was so happy she could continue seeing her other boyfriends when we met 23yrs ago, we are fine all together or seperate, no worries there

What above comments? There is only me who has said we met separate room and my maraige failed, I'd hardly say the experience of one person is setting a trend

From what I can gather, couples that play together - stay together

I would suspect it depends on the couple, their relationship dynamics, the communication level between the couple, and how it's done.

Tons of couples split up, whether they swing, don't swing, and whether they eat a fry up on a Saturday morning. Without actually doing a proper look at the numbers instead of using anecdotal evidence, then I think it's a sweeping statement.

But ask me again in a few years if we are still together.

Anything can break a relationship....

Leaving the toilet seat up or shagging the neighbours husband..... The trick is to talk to each other, find out if you both want the relationship to work and then work at it!

If swinging is for you both then great, if it isn't then it isn't!

Yes, my marriage was a victim of swinging 8 years ago! And "thank God!!".

She was one nasty, horrible devious cow!! But we had children and I didn't want them to suffer the pain of being stuck in the middle of a broken marriage. But, one day I had a pleasant surprise when returning home from work, she had packed up and jogged off with a young fella she met on a swinging site!! And even better she left me with the house and kids!!!!

And now I'm with the girl of my dreams, have a lovely house and a huge smile on my face!!! THANK YOU SWINGING!!!!

You could also say that those who only do same room and don't allow separate room fun have trust issues.

Commenting on the same/separate room play...sometimes its just a case of logistics! Having hot sexy same room fun...but the beds just not quite big enough, youve already got carpet burns and leg cramp...and there's a perfectly good double bed in the other room....

There's always the floor

From our point of view, it comes down to swinging being a shared part of our relationship - just like every other part of it. We're into foursomes primarily re swinging. Everyone playing together.

There's also the safety aspect of leaving your partner alone with a stranger.

If something goes wrong/someone's accused of something etc - things can change/happen in an instant.

I'm more relaxed knowing my partner is very close by, has my back and I his
