People who constantly send messages...

People who constantly send messages without an reply at all. Why do that?

My blocklist is releasing pesterers, i'm having ro reblock but i'm guessing other pesterers are being bumped off the list. My inbox is shit since this has been happening.

So yeah would like to know why you think you're justified to constantly message someone who hasn't expressed any interest in you?

This is the main reason why I block people. Especially when it's the same message 3 times. Or when I don't reply and within 5 mins I get another one asking why I haven't replied!

I hope my block never gets full

Are the messages for you only or part of a blanket message put out to reach many site members.

I get lots of messages which are so obviously sent out to many and not personally to me.

They're to me definitely, some people message me several times a day, different things.

Yeah your blocklist let's people come off it once it's too big.

This topic is both a rant, and to ask why people don't apply boundaries to themselves and others.

I can understand someone asking every couple of weeks, in case their message was missed or in case the person has changed their mind, but every day or several times a day is ridiculous and frankly quite strange. Did think i was open minded but maybe not as much as i thought i am.

Reported it, so have other people. Seems there isn't much anyone can do about it.

Might ask on another site if anyone can write a programme that extends a blocklist without taking up too much room on servers.

Is re messaging people a reportable offence?

Surely people need to sort their own inbox out instead of just keep reporting all the time, abuse is one thing but so long as they are polite I see no need to report someone for re messaging, just block ??

I already had blocked them. One even said he hadn't seen me on here for ages- yeah coz he was blocked...now he isn't, and so are loads of others. Seriously had got my inbox to a nice, manageable level it's got out of hand again now. Am reblocking them, haven't reported any of them coz it's a site glitch.
