Fake profiles and people

We seem to get a lot of "couples" who are never together or the mrs always out can u send some dirty pics so i can show her ormrs isnt feeling well so i can do the meet myself? Is this something others get alot? We seem to get them all the time and it is putting us off, any advice??

Do a search on fake profiles that should give you some answers, whilst waiting to for people to post to your thread.

...so far we've only had one 'couple' that contacted us...they had pics up, but no verification. We said we'd be happy to chat once they photo verified...got a long story about how they dont live together, and werent together right then etc. Was bored so played the conversation out...enquired which half of the couple I was talking to in that case and when they'd next be seeing other half. Turned out I was talking to the female half who really wanted to 'make me cream my panties'...I said thats a massive shame as I was hoping for a few cock pics and was in the mood for another guy. Unsurprising quick back track revealed he was only pretending to be her 'to make me feel more comfortable' hehe. Next message exchange determined he'd be seeing his other half Weds...so I said well we'll chat to you Weds then after we see you've photo verified yourselves.

Ignored subsequent messages...checked on Thurs... found a deleted profile lol.

If a profile is newish and isn't photo verified as a minimum we pass and won't enter into conversation. When we joined the first thing we did was to get photo verified and can't see why a new couple would not do the same if they are genuine!

For profiles that have been active for a few months or longer we'd look to see if there were meet verifications etc

No name and shame allowed and rightly so, after all who decides who is fake etc?

Our personal view is that Fab would be better if photo verification was mandatory to have a profile on the site in the first place.

Never thought about photo verifications lol will defo check in future as its the first thing we did, dont c y its an issue as the photo is completely private

Don Grimmy111 can be at the top of the list. Total fake! That is why name and shame is not allowed. Totally open to abuse!

Use common sense OP. Were they verified? How long on site. Google reverse image photos. If only the male wants to meet up you can guarantee there was never a female to begin with.

Someone said they message the fake couples back saying they are only looking for single guys at the moment, that made me laugh.

I had one the other day apparently a single woman. As time went on she said she had a "Dom" who apparently liked my photo very much and would be taking over the chat from now on..... Ehhh pass!

Photo varification is easy gotten round with a bit of computer jiggery pokery...

Best filter you have is you...gut feeling and common sense...no system will beat that...

Guys pretend to be women too. I've copied and pasted this comment I posted to another thread....sorry!

I've spoken to a "woman" knowing it was a guy. I told "her" I'm actually looking for a couple and then suddenly "she" had a fuck buddy (even tho the profile stated women only). I was then directed to his real profile. I played along for days, even giving him my kik where'd he'd set up a male and female account. We then had three way conversations (obviously large time between "their" comments while he logged in and out) at one point I sat back and just watched him chat to himself....it was hilarious! Eventually I got bored and told him I knew what he'd done. He then tried to apologize asking if I'd meet anyway!! lol

Agreed. But as in my case (above) were he admitted having a fake account and faking verifications shouldn't admin be able to review that message then suspend him? The fake profile was removed once reported but he can just continue to set up fake accounts and verify them from his verified account, which are probably all from his various fake accounts. I've caught him 3 times now!!

I was on a dating site yesterday fishing and came across a profile pic of a person I recognised. It was a very genuine profile stating that she was single and looking for love. I returned to FAB to see her pics on there as part of a bisexual couple that was clearly not written by her. I didn't know whether I should tell her or not, but returned to the dating site and sent her a message letting her know, she was shocked to say the least and promptly went online and checked it out. My hunch was correct. Just goes to show once your pics are online you are subject to exploitation.

It's about chatting a little and finding out more about the people so you can make an informed decision. It is always fallible but taking at face value is likely to cause problems every now and again.

it is usually fairly easy to be able to form a sensible opinion fairly quickly though...

Use your noggin! It's your life and your body and you don't have to meet anybody you don't want! Make sure the meet will be something you want not something that's just there. It's better to have no regrets!

You start to see the fakes really easy. We don't even entertain the idea of meeting single females with no verifications unless they agree to jump through a few hoops for us... Not because we are arseholes or picky, but because I don't feel like meeting 18 year old nymph Jenny and finding out she's actually 42 year old John. Couples we are the same for but do understand that some couples need to just start somewhere... But we still ask for proof of both.

If they give you excuses or reasons.... Move on. Plenty more out there! Plus if somebody can't be arsed to give you a quick pic, a web cam chat or something then why would they ever meet?
