Depends. Will the other guy get to have any fun with either of you? Or is he just there to give you a bj then leave?

I know this comes up a lot with bi females as they don't want to just turn up, put on a show for the benefit of the couple then not get to play with the guy.

First, I've never done anything with/to another man.

Second, it was a discussion which kind of turned into a fantasy scenario. We'd not necessarily go through with because as you say that might affect my sexual persuasion. And that's a massive thing!
