A Partner's Fetish .....

Following on from the Fetish Post .... How would you feel if you encounter a partner/s with an obvious strong "fetish" leaning towards something .... for example latex, or stockings and couldn't indulge in any sexual activity or become aroused without it .... ?

Would you accept it freely as part of your relationship .... ?

Would you feel like you were competing with the particular fetish .... ? Perhaps even feel obselete ....

I would say any fetish should be for fun and an obsession.

If someone can only play while using the same fetish I would be worried.

I haven't yet encountered this, unless you include the ladies that can't play unless they are dressed for the occaision?

I don't think it would bother me too much, because as long as my playmate is up for it, she could be dressed as an astronaut as far as I'm concerned.

If you are referring to our life partners, then that is a different matter. If one of you HAD to dress for the occaision you would lose the sponatiety that sometimes fires up your sex

My partner has a couple of fetishes, one is quite extreme.

However, he has no trouble putting them aside and enjoying any situation.

So, it's not a problem and on the occasions we do go into his fetish'es it's fun as we know it's not the be-all and end-all.

The episode of Sex In The City springs to mind where Miranda finds the bloke who can't screw without the porn on & the remote to hand. She dumped him in the end when he moved her to one side cos he couldn't see the tv.

All things in moderation me thinks.

i would try and put up with it, but who knows how long it will last but yes it probably would make me feel inferiour
