This should be a real deterrent. We are concerned by the number of single men who post photos on their profile in which their face is hidden, but the face of a girl, covered in cum or sucking cock, is clearly shown. As these are on single men's profiles there is no way the girls can definitely have given permission, and they probably don't even know that they are on public display in compromising positions. Shouldn't admin put a stop to this.

Yup, everybody should be photo verified! Sadly though it's VERY easy to fake even that, if you have the right pic and tools. Gav is a games designer in his spare time and I know all he needs is something even remotely close to a person holding a page up, to change that page into a blank sheet with a name on it.

Maybe not everybody can do that, but it still means it's not fool proof. It should stop the majority of people though, so yes, it needs to go ahead!!!

FAB need to make this front page head line news and point to the article every time a new member signs up!!! Scare the little fake shits!!! C xx

Why not? - there is surely a difference between doing something in privacy to be seen and enjoyed in privacy and having the same plastered on the Internet. Perhaps the problem is deeper - one of trust in your current partner.

You don't have to be photographed to enjoy sex safest way if you don't want to be seen don't take them

Or post them on a swinger site it's hard not to notice a camera or phone in your face

Nobody's forcing you to have your pic taken

Having said that you shouldn't use photos of somebody without there permission

thats what people are getting at just because you have photos does not mean you should put them on here with out there permison.

maybe they should have to have the other person say its ok to use them and if they change there mind can press a button to have them removed from that person profile.

Sorry, but we are clearly missing a point here. Some women (and men we guess) do enjoy their photographs being taken, and can get really turned on by posing. This does not mean that there is an implicit agreement that the resulting pictures should be distributed here or anywhere els without permission

"It's very easy with these smart phones to save images once they become friends on here ....any chance there is a way to stop this???"

We agree!! It's a fundamental flaw in the site.

A Lot of websites wont allow you to copy paste photos or images I guess for copyright or plagiarism reasons so why does a company that deals with people's privacy and is trusted with people's most intimate images allow any Tom Dick or Harry to freely copy/lift to take away and use in whatever way they feel fit.

This should be seriously looked at by admin! If other web designers can do it why can't they???

It's one reason that we won't just add anyone as friends until we've met and become more intimate.

Admin say this in FAQs:

Why don't you right-click protect our photos to stop others stealing / saving them?

We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.

Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by any of the following methods:

Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.

OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.

OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.

We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be viewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.

We also now watermark all photos upon upload.

You are actually ill informed

its not possible

Responsibility for what is uploaded is that of the uploader

once you upload an image to the internet

you must accept that it will most likely become public , you can not own your image

go to view image ownership human rights

Quote Does the UK law specifically allow someone’s image to be protected?

There is no specific right to your own image in any statute or neither has one been created expressly in any case law. There are however, case law examples where other intellectual property rights have been established to aid in the protection of an image.

that is technical virtually uneforceble

if you want to stay private hide your face or any distinguishing marks, that will help but not save you

Its unfair to expect Admin here or on any site to attempt to protect your images encryption will not stop anything once the image is transmitted, or becomes viewable, its all over.

Just as a saftey measure alone, we feel it's the duty of website owners to be on the forefront of image protection and at the same time, as members we take as much precautions with what content we upload on the net.

With all what's said, this looks like one piece of PR that Fab' could do without.

"Yeah i added a guy as a friend and in his friends only pics he had one of a girl sucking his cock, her face very clearly visible. I knew the lady in question from chat and told her. She had no idea it was there. Prick. "

So your friend didn't notice, or consent, to the photo being taken?

If she did know, why did she think the guy wanted to take a photo?

"This should be a real deterrent.

Maybe a watermark on the photos before uploading them. Only trouble with that is some photo editing software is expensive but I'm sure it's better than having them stolen.

Fake profiles are easier to find nowadays using a reverse image search. I just found another a couple of minutes ago, a supposed 22 year old stunner called from Thetford wanting to hear what guys wanted to do to 'her'. A quick image search and it turns out the selfie pic is all over various porno and image sites.

If u don't want Ur face covered in cum on a site don't have those sort of photos taken.

Why not? - there is surely a difference between doing something in privacy to be seen and enjoyed in privacy and having the same plastered on the Internet. Perhaps the problem is deeper - one of trust in your current partner.

Current partners don't always stay current and play meets are just that. If you really want to protect your privacy then use your common sense and judgement. "

Indeed. That's the only form of image protection guaranteed to work.

"It's very easy with these smart phones to save images once they become friends on here ....any chance there is a way to stop this???

How do they stop them? I can screen grab any image on the internet."

They can make them copy right protected like other sites do, remember most serious people are paying for the site membership

Why is it bad PR for Fab? Anyone can steal photo's off the internet. Nothing Fab can do about it.

They do. As a single guy I have pics including others (with permission before anyone asks) but I cannot post them unless all other faces are obscured. That is the site rules."

correct we even had a pic rejected as our dog was visible in the background lol

You should re-post with the dog wearing a mask

we have faced a entirely different problem.. few years ago, someone stole pics of us and posted in porn sites, these were private pics, so they came with face shots too. It took about 2 months and 12 letters from us and our lawyers, to get them removed. God knows how many website carry them, which we have no knowledge of.

ofcourse, some may argue if you so concerned, then you shouldn't have it put in fabsingers in the first place... what happens within 4 walls and between swingers community is our business and no one should steal and post them websites, which could be viewed by everyone , including non-swingers ( who can be really judgmental)at times.

i am really surprised, what would anyone get out of posting someone else pics without their permission.. this world is full of weirdo's.

........................................

Hard to disagree with what you say...online as well there are loads of videos where the woman is clearly recognisable and the man is 'just a cock'...I doubt a lot of the women involved have given permission for those to be uploaded for all and sundry to see.

Faith restored! Today we reported a single man's profile to which he had uploaded a pic of an easily recognisable girl's face and it was removed within a couple of hours, presumably by admin. Don't want to be too stuffy about this, but we value our privacy and don't think that others should have their privacy violated.

That begs the question of why they allowed it in the first place.
