Most agree to discretion on our life styles ,, we 100% do ,, but when u get a private message out of the blue with their face pics attached saying hi ,, we both live local fancy a chat ,, Oops what to say when you know them ? erm yeah if you like ,, we chat everyday on the school playground ,, ???? I'm sure they would change schools n area if they knew ,, can't be to careful x

They just said hi we live local and they didn't say they recognised you, so they haven't seen you they just live local really.

Discretion to us is not shouting to any one outside of the lifestyle what we do or who we know. But the thought of some one local in the scene knowing we all have the same interests is no reason to panic. Indeed we have a cousin in this game and no one else in the family is aware of either of our preferences. we are all adult and any one who knows some one else is not likely to go telling others outside in our opinion. Nothing we are doing is wrong we are all adults enjoying each others company with no deceit or secrets to our partners. How many outside of this can say the same.

if you meet some one in a pub that you know do you turn the other way or go speak to them. Just because you see some one in here you know does not mean you have to play with them or pressure them. treat them like you would any one else

Allow me to wade into this debate.

I have met with someone from fab who lives quite local to me - although I didn't know them prior to meeting, during the meet we discovered, during conversation, that we have mutual friends / acquaintances.

I was actually rather relieved that we had discovered this as I can only imagine a potentially embarrassing scenario if we were to bump into each other in the presence of our mutual friends without the heads up.

Fortunately, armed with this knowledge such embarrassment has been avoided - and yes, we have both been in the presence our mutual friends at the same time on a couple of occasions.

Just behaved as if we didn't know each other. That's what discretion is all about.

I don't really see the big deal personally?

At first that embarrassing feeling of being caught out must be present, but surely you then realise that wait, if they saw me, then they're here too. Right?

I'm sure they want to be outed no more than you do...

Personally I wouldn't care... that said, I also wouldn't jump into bed with someone whom I would have to deal with outside of the life regularly... like a friend or co-worker..

Until recently I worked as a Door Steward around the Glasgow and surrounding area.

One night a new steward worked in my regular club. He approached me discreetly and said he was a member if Fab and his wife liked my profile.

What do you do???????

I have friends in here that live locally, we chat in here regularly and pass each other on the street. I also worked beside a couple of ladies who used to be on here, we didn't block each other

But one of them did go to a party with me where we swapped with another

Had an inlaw recognise us on here. He took screenshots of our profile and displayed them to our family. Quickly hid our pics, changed our profile name and blocked him. Relations with our family are still strained because of him.

I've seen a few people who I know are on this site when they get on my bus lol that's why I'll never show my face pics to locals unless I see theirs first, I have a little chuckle to myself while I think "I know what you get up to"
