Couples only?

As our local clubs only have couples only nights in the week and we can only play at weekends, there are always single men when we go to play. Although we have never had a bad experience and they have always been nothing but gentlemen, we would like the odd weekend night where it was couples only (sorry single blokes lol). We would just be interested if more couples would go to a club if it was couples only?

Chams on a saturday after 7.30pm is couples only and worth checking out I know its a bit of a distance but can stay over for just £40 per room and still cheaper than a night on the town.

We would providing we we're treated “fairly” i.e. as a “couple” and not 2 single guys.

Chams being one club refuses to view us as a couple, irrespective we've been together 22 years!

Thats a tough one Bi as i only meant an MF couple as i never thought about same sex couples. It would be interesting to find out if an FF couple were counted as a couple on such nights. Not sure what an MM couple would get from a couples only night as i think most going would be going for an MF swap, but I do see where you are coming from and you are obviously a couple.

"Not sure what an MM couple would get from a couples only night"

Hi PNJ

As mentioned, we only wanted to attend Chams as a social, Maybe we're under the wrong impression, we were under the assumption not everyone uses Chams as a sex venue.

As one of us is Bi, we thought attending Chams would be an opening for us to introduce / explain / meet any future potential meet.

Hi Shaz

"or monday bi nights"

A great many "Straight" clubs around the UK use there quietest night of the week as a Gay / Bi night, believing money is to be made from the "pink" pound when it suits the club.

We don't go to clubs anymore but only used to go on Couples nights.

If we started going back to clubs it would only be on couples nights too.

One problem we did notice was that sometimes you'd get a "couple" turn up and the woman would spend all night drinking/chatting at the bar while the guy would go on the prowl alone.

We noticed this with different people on different nights.

The guy would latch onto one or two couples and stalk them all night.

He probably just used his "partner" as an edger in.

You could contact the club and speak to them about your situation, as you are living together and have joint ID for the same address (utility bills, bank statements etc) you unlike most are able to prove that you are a couple and you may (I am only a member so cannot be sure) be allowed a couples membership, you still couldnt go on Saturday nights as this has to be couples and single females only (I couldnt even get in on my own on Saturday nights when I worked there the rules on that are very strict) but if they did accept you as a couple it would allow you access to a cheaper membership and entry fee.

I can understand all clubs being wary on this issue otherwise guys straight or bi would get together and call themselves couples for cheap memberships but as I said you can at least put up a case for yourselves and I do know that the staff at Chameleons will listen to people, contact Lyn at the club.

If you've never had any problems with them what does it matter if they there?

I personally never liked couples only nights, when i was with my ex i wouldnt go to clubs on couples only nights

The question is "would more couples go to clubs if they had a couples only night?" Just wondered if the thought of singles kept some people away.

Personally I dont like couples night find it very clicky as a single girl and married men are not my thing. Prefer the variety of a mixed night.

Hi

We tried that several months ago, I spoke to someone called Steve, I offered to produce evidence of joint mortgage / utility bills / community charge / bank accounts etc., etc., but was informed “from the top” cannot accept us as a male couple, if they allowed us, they'd have to allow other males who claim to be a couple.

This is not a thread against single men and was simply a question asking those couples who dont go to clubs if they would go if there were couples only nights at the weekend at more local clubs.

I work hard all week and am away from home a few nights so I don't always get the chance to get to a club during the week, when single guys are available!!

I sometimes go on a Saturday night as a "couple"...we have a couples membership before anyone starts about people meeting up to get around this.....but there are also occasions when I am on my own Saturday evening, and although as a single female I would get in to most places...I enjoy the extra attention from single guys that you don't always get from couples.....so would love to find somewhere that lets in single guys on a Saturday.

I guess we can answer this. We've never been to a club but were thinking of going to our local one (club tease) now they seem to let single men in Fri and couples only Sat (if I read correctly).

We've have gone friday.

TBH we aren't that keen on couples really and don't really like the way the scene *appears* to be built around keeping the couples and single ladies *happy*.

okay jim.... I have offered to rewrite this...

the local club is not, and has never been just cpls only on a saturday night... you have been putting this about for the last 6-12 months

I go on a saturday because the greedy girl atmosphere is not really for me....

and to be honest if you like the friday night you are probably not going to like the saturday anyway...

yes, it is more couples orientated but It is a completly different setting and scene, couples only rooms and locked private rooms as well... far more relaxed and socialable

can you now stop saying that it is cpls only... thank you

oh for goodness sakes you should not have to justify anything. u r a couple, then u r a couple. no one questions our motivation for attending one club or another.

At the end of the day, these clubs are businesses, so they must provide a good service. There is membership and if anyone behaves badly this membership should be removed. This way couples and singles of either sex could socialise without stress or worry. Also clubs take the trouble to check the ratio of singles of either sex does not get out of proportion to couples.

Clubs need to evolve a bit with so many more bi-sexuals on the scene.

I don't understand why couples feel uncomfortable with single guys, I don't. I am a single female who has regularly been attending a swinger club for years and have never had a problem with a single guy forcing himself on me or making me feel uncomfortable. If I am not interested in their advances I just say no thanks and they walk away. I wonder why couples have problems with these guys. If anything I have noticed that men from couples are more challenging and feel that because they have a partner that the same rules don't apply as they do for single guys.

Most single guys have paid alot of money to join clubs and perhaps had to wait on a waiting list for ages to get their membership so I think its unlikely that they would just throw it away easily.

I think that in general that maybe I'm fortunate but I find most swingers to be great friendly people who like to have fun and a laugh with like minded people. In seven years its hard to think of many unpleasant occassions.

If it wasn't for single guys we'd not be swinging! We don't meet couples and single women, well, doesn't seem to be any within 200 miles

Via le single guy.

We were at the beach party on Sunday, and Kate and I were chatting in the bar area when 2 guys came and sat by us. They said "hi", and we politely responded, "hi" back to them.

Within 20 seconds of sitting down, they both started wanking

Can't believe they thought we'd be impressed

It's guys with this type of mentality that I can't handle.

I've never seen couple act in this manner

In terms of the club scene, I don't think that you're alone and if it wasn't for single guys then nobody would be swinging (at clubs). Their whole business model would collapse without the income generated from single guys.

ps - I didn't mean that to sound as negative as it probably comes across.

We have been on every night at Chams - i do enjoy Saturday - my fave is bi night though. I can relate to the single guys sitting down and flaccid wanking.

I have had a few odd experiences with single men but im getting more confident in saying no now (usually i let my guy do it). the guys havent been too bad but they have tried their luck and ive had to bat hands off. The other thing that irritates me is getting into the jacuzzi when theres single guys in there, they wont move up and keep their legs outstretched. Ive figured its cos they hope ill either trip up and make a grab for their cocks, or that on climbing over them they hope they can get a close up look at my pussy and again hope that i trip and fall on their tongue, or that they try and make it difficult to move to the back so am forced to sit by them.

Also guys tend to try and touch me when they think im not noticing and my partner is otherwise engaged - usually if hes going down on me and i have my eyes closed. They think i wont notice when they reach out to touch my boobs or try and dangle their cocks at my mouth. but again to be fair i am in a public room so i just bat them away and they are ok. My favourite room is the mirrored ceiling room at Chams and unfortunately singles are allowed in their.

I have also had men from a couple be quite forceful and i agree with what someone else said that they think cos their with a woman that the rules dont apply to them.

Of course for all the stupid ones there are the lovely single guys, so cant really group them all together
