Hi, why do some people get upset if you dont agree to there friends invite,

if they cant be bothered to send a message first why should you agree,

maybe its just us but we like to have a bit of a message first,

Totally agree .... although someone once said we like to have our ego's stroked because we prefer a message of some sort first .... some people really ought to learn some basic manners lol xxx

We ssk people not to without chatting first etc... if they ignore we send a sarcastic message .. usually about not wanting to be wank fodder then block...

Lazy and simply picture hunters..

Indeed, the friends bit seems to be a bit of a sticky wicket. Some seem to collect them for the number, others for the pics.

Guess they were originally as a quick access to their profiles or to see if they were online and now who knows...

But yes they should be people you talk to often and more

Ours are... Or whats the point.

Even if we add then hear nothing for a while its better to just delete..

Keeps it all clean... Like us lol.

My favourite is when I get a message, I always try and be polite and say thanks but no thanks.

They come back and say thanks for the reply can I add you as a friend anyway. Lol! xx

I ignore all friends requests unless I have spoken to them first and wish to chat further....even then I sometimes ignore them....

The last part was a joke

I just assume anyone who sends an invite without an accompanying message is just a pic hunter,and one of my biggest bug bears are pic hunters xx

I only ever add as a friend if i have been chatting for a bit....and looking at my friends list i seem to have been chatting a lot lol......i must get a hobby!!!!

We only have one cpl on our friends list!!!! & thats because we have known them for a few yrs...

We're just peeved when you get them out of the blue when you seem to have nothing in common with them.....

Infact i'm off to change our profile!!!!

I can't be arsed to chat.. look at us we think were ace list..

But it does say Friends list.. We chat to our friends... Then wank over their pics later lol..

We very rarely check our friends invites - ususally only after we've spoken to someone and agreed to add them. At the same time as we add that person, we delete the rest ...

It's a bit like a stranger walking into ya house and asking for a cuppa - you just wouldn't do it

we invite people to be friends to see our face pics n also cos we like to make friends as well as play,also we would never delete anyone who sent us a friend invite as thats what swinging is all about.cant get me head round it !!

the reason why we invite friends also is cos we had a person copy n paste all our face pics on another site under a different name ,..hence we send invite to peeps to be friends so they can see our face pics x

that makes no sense whatsoever, sending out friends invites to see face pics but dont want them copying and pasting??? or have i misread this. think you may have missed the point of whats the point of accepting invites if youre not going to reply to them, dont mean you personnally by the way

What I don't get is when I send someone or a couple a message (without sending a friends request). Then they read the message, don't reply and send me a request!!! Usually they have no pics as well, this happened 3 times last week... On further explanation of why I don't want to add them they still say nothing.

I'm starting to find the friends list a bit purposeless now. If it is as above I wont add them. If it is someone who has private pics I never ask them either in case they think I am a pic collector...

Just a bit of fun really.

you get to see who your chatting to, or not in some cases, plus allows you to see who you have added is online.apart from that it is pretty pointless

okay tries not to think along the lines of...yes but WHAT have the romans done for us there...sigh!

I use mine only for friends that Ive actually met or people Ive already chatted to and agreed to meet when we can. Then when I can meet someone at short notice its easier to just ask if anyone on my list fancies meeting up.

I think we should point it out in our profiles. I have done so.

But I do agree that a bit of correspondence before the request would be appropriate.

Unfortunately, like all other communities, you have "weirdos" (read pic collectors, teenagers, lonely sad single males).

i think i must be very old fashioned as to be a friend it needs more than a few e-mails, i have to know that person, or at the very least met the person b4 i add him/her as a friend..i think...no i know that these peeps who send out friend invites to everyone without knowing them willy nilly are doing so for two reasons and two reasons only..

1/. to look at ur private pics on ur gallery...

2/. to make themselves look as if they have loads of friends and are indeed a very popular person..

it is very simple to work out these people as all u have to do is see how many friends they have and see how many member verifications they have...they never add up to the same number, hence the term "" pic collector..lol..xxxx

We've decided that, unles it is a couple we know well, anyone who is on or askes to be on our friends list must have face pics on thiers & be in contact with us regulaly. If thier not talking to us how can they call themselves friends???
