bed post notch..

I had a meet planned for tomorrow night, with a guy off here who lives in my town and and someone who I actually know through friends..anyways he was wanting a meet so I agreed..and anyway, I get a message tonight, asking if I was always on here? And he then said he wanted to cancel our meet as he didnt fancy being another notch on my bedpost

We are into the same things.. if u know what I mean and we had a few chats and decided on a meet... I was surprised by his bedpost notches remark.. I thought being on this site men had more of an open mind..and accepted the fact that women can have fun as much as men. .. or even more..

is it still double standards? Coz that will make me cross...

Very odd response from the bloke. It's a swinging site not a dating one! I wouldn't expect a monogamous relationship at all on here. I have met a lovely lady on here a few times but I certainly don't begrudge her having other meets. It actually turns me on thinking and hearing about them.

Sounds like he needs to seriously loosen up and relax.

Agree this, averaging a meet per week is not excessive, especially as there will be times when you don't have so many. Sounds like cold feet.

I humbly suggest that, perhaps, his attractions to you may have come, initially, from the mutual friendships and not Fab. Did he know you were on Fab before he knew you through friends?

He may actually be looking for more than just physical fun, he may have been interested in a relationship.

Certainly the 'notch on your bedpost' comment supports that theory. Perhaps he concluded that he wanted more than you would be willing to give and decided to save the mutual embarrassment and his own heartache?

Have to say that I am somewhat disappointed with the responses some have made to this post. If this guy knew her as a mutual friend first and was therefore looking for a more mainstream encounter then he has probably saved them both some degree of pain and should be applauded for his foresight, not ridiculed!

I met him through friends a couple of months ago when I was out on a night out n had a drink n chat with him..seemed an ok guy but he didnt seem particularly interested in me.. then he contacted me on here.. etc etc

I think to be fair,it sounds like he got nervous..and he is definitely not the settling down type..

Fair enough but why make me feel bad for having a good time?
