are you like me getting fed-up with the exclusion of single men from the vast majority of ads on here ? . do you think it,s time the site has a section for people seeking single men only ? .are you also fed-up with the constant demands by people on here which range from the sublime to the ridiculous . wot has happened to the good old fashioned "lets meet for some fun" ads ? .instead we see that you have to be "exceptional" or with looks like brad pitt. please let me know your thoughts on the matter.

Instead of getting so wound up about people whose criteria you don't meet and concentrate on ones that do. The sites got the tools for you to find people looking for men only, the search section is pretty good like that.

Everyone has a choice, everyone has a type, everyone has the type of person they don't like. It cuts both ways - the vast majority of women on this site don't interest me in the slightest. Why would anyone meet anyone they're not attracted to? Of course we all make 'demands', it's just that some of us do it a little more subtly than others...

I too have noticed that, and I admit I find it a bit annoying.

But I guess it's a seller's market, and women can ask for what they want.

Although, also, I find myself a bit embarrassed. Technically swinging is between couples, and as a single male I'm kinda piggy backing on the life style.

So.... It's annoying... But that's life.

If you look for problems, you will find them, so my best suggestion is concentrate on the people who would like to meet you and don't worry about what you can't change, you'll just annoy yourself.

Personally I think you're setting yourself up for a lynch mob. People are free to request whatever they want. Just cos they want a Brad Pitt lookalike doesn't mean they're going to get one, in fact they probably won't, so they're setting themselves up to fail anyway. So don't sweat it, just go for those more open minded people who don't see looks, being exceptional, or a film star lookalike as that important. They're probably full of themselves anyway.....

Also everyone's idea of exceptional if different, the type of guy I would go for in real life is few and far on here and most women wouldn't look twice at, but they are exceptional to me I don't go for conventionally good looking men

I haven't had any real issues. I've found that chatting to ladies or couples via messaging etc. in the same way as you would in a bar pays dividends. That is, act normally, be sociable and don't show them your knob in your opening gambit.

Could be a controversial thing here, but exceptional males tend to be the ones who communicate normally - it tends to go a long way

Gav has been turned down a couple of times for not being "exceptional" and not having an amazing body. Yet oddly it's only happened with couplez where the woman hasn't exactly been on top form herself. We don't look for for people in that sense... In fact we make a point on our profile that we don't even LIKE muscle bound big heads.

I'm nearing 50 and yes, meets are harder to come by. I may be wrong but there comes a time when the older you get the smaller the pool of potential meets gets too.

Couples and single women, given the choice there is on here for them would much rather invite a 35 year old than a 55year old man. That's life. . Accept it . Concentrate on what YOU have to offer not what others should be offering you .

Everyone likes what they like. I have met a fair few single men and since I have limited play time they were all exceptional. To me though, not necessarily to other people. It goes both ways and I'm not everyone's cup of tea so there is no point whatsoever stressing over the ones I can't have - I'd rather meet the rare few where it's a mutual attraction so we both have an excellent time.

Okay my 2 pence worth....I see both sides of this argument and when all things are considered.....the couples/single women are gonna win every time!! .

I use myself as an example.....I've been back on fabs since about April last year, by far and away I'm not exceptional and I'm no model/Adonis type either.

As people have already said to death, everyone has their type and it's their choice....I'm not the greatest looking bloke on her, even I have a wobble every now and then when I wonder "what's wrong with me?" Truth is.....I don't know but I don't think I do that bad, course I don't meet as often as I'd like....but then when you are up against literally 1000's of other men, some need to work and promote themselves that little bit harder.....this is a lesson that you, OP, need to learn and pdq about it, if you expect to have any success.

Many men don't do themselves any favours with terrible pics, terrible profiles, and zero skill in chatting. That said, there are a lot of really poor quality fems and cpls on here, and they offer literally nothing apart from having orifices that often desperate men will stuff.
