Oh god, guy I was shagging for 4 months dropped me like a hot turd but I told him I liked him and had feelings for him and he said he wasn't looking for anything serious. Hurts like hell especially when the feelings were from both sides but the reality of a real relationship wouldn't have worked. Over a year on there's still a part of me that yearns for him and he pops up and makes contact occasionally so it's still there for him too. Ive recently been hurt by a fwb, he broke the rules he set and couldnt understand when I got nasty about it. He now has a joint profile with the person! Karma is all I can say what goes around comes around and all that.

It's down to how you detach your feelings i will never let my wall down with anyone else from here again he shattered my trust and made me feel i wasn't worthy or good enough for him also lied which i can't stand i would rather be hurt by the truth.

On the other hand about 4 years ago i met a guy on a fishy dating site we had a bit of no string fun fwb kinda thing! And to this day that guy is my best friend, he's a stubborn sod but I love him with all my heart, things are just not in the right time or place for us to be together.

But rather than loose him which I don't think either of us could stand we remain friends!, and the sex lol the best I have ever had

But my feelings for my bestie are very much under control, the recent fwb might have taken me to the moon but he sure as hell pushed me off it.

I had a friend with benefits for eight years. We didn't meet often but spoke every day. A "proper" relationship wouldn't have worked as his family commitments meant he couldn't dedicate the time to me I needed.

I met loads of people he only had time for me and for eight years it was perfect, then I met someone on here who simply blew me away: totally unexpected, not what either of us were looking for and we now live together and planning our future.

I had a fb of coming up to 4/5 years. We clicked on every level. Speak, text everyday but we both knew a relationship would not work. Distance, age differences and kids did not make it easier either.

We are the best of friends, and very close to each other. She has recently met someone, so i'm keeping my distance. But i'm happy for her. Does feel weird and is rather difficult at times of not being able to be like we used to be.

Used to be some of the best times i've had, and amazing memories. Just have that thought whether i'd click and get on with someone else like i did with her. Is just rare that. Our connection with each other was genuine.

Miss our times together. Think that's what it is.

I can't deny the fact that me & Vince only started off as FBs. I think it's all about knowing how to read the signs and just being honest with each other.

We didn't even realise it to begin with but we were spending more and more time together outside of sex (purely because we were on each other's wave-length).

He admitted one night that he was starting to develop feelings for me and although I was starting to feel the same way, I didn't admit it until a few days later.

We've now been together 4 years and have a baby.

Don't dismiss it altogether but don't throw it in their face if you already know 100% it's not what they want.

Had an FB for about 4 years, great friends, text and spoke regularly, weekends away etc but I always knew I didn't want anything more with him.

There wasn't that extra spark for a full on relationship even if circumstances were right

He fell for me but I met someone else who was very special and my FB was hurt

Fortunately he felt the same way as I did and me saying I was going to try dating spurred him into action! I did..knowing we would never be more than fb's..I got jealous..we talked..he gave me a different perspective..I understood and we are still fb's. He's been doing this for a looong time..he is my first fb so I took his advice on board and I have learned from it and am happy with the outcome.

God yes as a sub I fell badly for my FB after 2 years he turned really nasty but I took it and all the bullshit, even when he opened another profile....it hurt a lot.

Gone through it now and learnt a big lesson....shan't ever fall like that again!

I had a fab for 2 years we would meet in a regular basis go out socialising together until one day he said he couldn't be GB anymore by this time I had feelings for him and even thought I was in love

we are friends now have tried to distance myself but it's really hard.

Hell I had a fwb for a while.. we both fell hard for each other, or rather I did.. we had the talk and decided to date but take a break from swinging for a year so that we could build our relationship first then decide what way we wanted our swinging lives to go..... all was seemingly perfect and we were seemingly a perfect couple right up until the moment she mistakenly copied me into an email re galing one of her friends of all the dogging she had been doing while i was at work ..... I was devastated.... it wasn't so much the sex (I'd have happily gone along dogging.. she was the one that first suggested stopping).. it was the lies and deception.. that was 8 years ago

I was on as a couple and met a guy from here as a purely social meet.

We stayed chatting and flirting while I separated from my partner.

Started playing together, purely as fb's however we would often talk about things happening in our lives and go out for dates.

At Christmas he told me he loved me and wanted more. I had tried to hide my own feelings up till then but luckily the feeling was mutual.

10 months on and although it's not been perfect we're still together and he recently met my children.

Neither of us planned this, both of us have had fb's before where there was great friendship and respect but no feelings. But sometimes love can blossom from unconventional beginnings!
