We encounter many sexy folks who simply won't show their face on cam to chat to verify and ensure we get along, and will only go straight to meet at a club and in some cases want to go to drink stage.

We aren't club goers (yet) but seem never to get to that hybrid place (well once we did) where we might like to meet, knowing you're real and nice.

Maybe it's just us?

The best way to judge if someone is real is to only talk to people who are verified. We tend to think you can get a good idea of whether you match with someone personality wise over the course of a few messages, however it's still always a risk you have to be prepared to take. A while ago we chatted for a long time with a couple who we seemed to really 'click' with via message, and even mutual friends assumed we'd get on well but when we finally met them it was awkward and the conversation didn't flow at all! You have to just make a judgement call each time you chat to people, but one thing I will say is if they refuse to cam, and that's something that's important to you as an ice breaker then (to me) it would already seem as though they aren't on the same wave length!? Yes, the messages help to judge taste and articulation, etc. Personally, however, we find voices and movement easier to identify a match and certainly in giving us confidence that person is real.

We just seem to find many who seem genuine who refuse, perhaps you're right, maybe just on a different wave length to begin x

I agree, think it's easier to get a feel for someone chatting over cam, but I think some people are paranoid about camming incase they get recorded, even if there's no play involved x

Here in our area of the U.S., they just want to go straight to a hotel. No social or anything else before hand. Then they complain because their not getting meets. They don't get if you put effort in there are no rewards.

I personally like to chat on cam or at least the phone. Lately I'm finding snapchat is good for teasing and building up some flirtatious banter. Also good to prove genuine.

I do not see how cams can be classes a verification method and fact o p makes the post and folks face not showing proves the point.

All cams do is show someone prob playing so cannot tell if they are ok tyoe of person.

Each to their own but if the only veris someone as are by cam then for me i dont bother.

I'd never go on cam anf I certainly wouldn't show my face, especially hearing horror stories on here.

Understand from horror story point of view but we for one, wouldn't expect the others to get naked or do anything that on compromises their privacy. Bonus if we get to that level of trust, but it's better to chat than not? Again, I guess people approach this very differently, so no right or wrong about it x
