In that case just avoid conversations your not interested in, some people like to be socialable that means talking about everything and anything . Correct me if I'm wrong but I see fab as a community for people interested in the swinging lifestyle. Talking about vanilla things and seeing peoples opinions on stuff can give you a good insight into what somebody's personality is like

I think this is a good tool when looking for potential meets as for us we have to actually like and click with those we invite into our bed. Where do the people that are looking in to trying this lifestyle out, taking breaks or keeping in touch with up to date topics and fab friends go if not on here ? We view swinging as a sociable and sexual scene but hey that is just us.

Mine says that. I have met people. And I will meet people again. I'm just not at the moment. I don't like to hide my profile so it's explained in the text. I can't really chat to my fab friends or use the fab forums on Facebook!

Well we gave up meeting on here as too many idiots and time wasters. We do all our playing with our non fab friends it's much more fun. However we stay to stay in touch with friends we have made here. If other people don't like that we really couldn't give a shit tbh.. We are entitled to use the site as we wish. If there was so many people here with the wrong attitude maybe we would meet from here. And yes we have met from here in the past. It is a swinging site and after all swinging is not just sex it's a lifestyle with a good social side. Just because people are swingers doesn't mean they are not allowed to discuss things other than sex with each other. If people don't like that they don't have to join in that conversation surely. True swinging friends are able to discuss anything and this generally leads to having much more fun. Sex with strangers is not our thing and in our opinion not what we consider swinging. Others like that and that's good for them and that's what swinging means to them. So best to do your thing and leave others to do theirs really as they are clearly not people you would want to meet anyway so why worry about it. To an extent I 100% agree with this post.

Nobody gives a shit what school you send your child to, or how your cat got in a fight with yer budgie... yes there is Social side to it, but not to the extent of writing about a problem you had with your child on a swinging forum.. i feel very uncomfortable even saying I have a child to some people, i want to keep her and all this totally seperate! I really dont get why people post on forums for child advice... sign up to baby centre or net mums not bloody fab swingers !

We have a lot of friends from swinging who we chat to on here and on faceache. Sometimes we chat on here more than there. There is a very good reason for that......there will always be that one friend who says something not appropriate for the family to read. My mother is 68 and has MS, my father is 70 and has a heart condition. I'd rather not kill them off with the shock of finding out that we are swingers who met on here just because someone let something slip on faceache!

Why are you bothered OP? Of they're here and chatting about non-swinging stuff and not meeting you, the outcome is the same as if they weren't here, when they wouldn't be meeting you either.

All sites with forums or chat or a social aspect deviate a bit from their main topic, it's the same with fitness sites, parenting sites, dieting sites and so on.

On re-reading true but we're softening the position from saying they should leave to asking why they stay. And some have given reasonable answers. It's really about finding out how people think and tick for me. That's why I asked.
