Porn - an education or...?

I'm sure that there are no new topics to bring to our sex tables but this has been in my head for a while.

Do we think that men are knowingly lead down some path of false expectation as a result of wanking to porn? I've seen threads where couples will say that they share porn watching as a way of building the mood and maybe encouraging different moves.

So is it good to have as much free porn as we have or bad? Typically we read that women suffer most when men get hooked on porn.

Everything in moderation or banish it from being in any way socially acceptable?

Porn got us into swinging, we watched a DVD of an amateur group in La Chambre and decided we had to try that. Generally, porn is unrealistic and gives people unrealistic expectations (or worries that men are not big enough and virile enough and women are not as lovely, etc)

Thats a perfect result...couple enjoy porn and hey both get a bigger buzz as a result.

Singletons using porn can have their imaginations broadened and thus bring fantasies to play sessions but the point you make about being someway inadequate is a worry. I hadn't thought about that.

So when I form my government I'll insist that porn is only viewable by couples after they have proved their status...lol

Porn is fine as long as those taking part haven't been coerced and those watching realise that it isn't a documentary.

I have yet to find a porn movie that holds my attention for more than three minutes though, which is a shame because I would love to watch some.

We love watching porn together and get lots of ideas from it . Some work well in reality , some don't , but without the inspiration we wouldn't have tried them .

If watching porn becomes obsessional then of course it's a bad thing , but so is anything in excess, from food to alcohol , so for most porn is fine .

Porn is fantasy... If it's taken as such it can be enjoyed.

It's like watching die hard the movie and expecting the next time you go to a high rise building you'll be throwing Alan Rickman off the roof in a hail of explosions and bullets....

Not gonna happen and your gonna be disappointed.

I like good artsy, well shot porn but I know it's not like real sex and I'm glad because it would ruin the escapist, self centered nature of how you enjoy porn vs the mutual aspect of sex in which you aim to help each other enjoy it as much as possible.
