No difference to us except they take a wedge of money every month

we have used a pay site in the past but soon realised that you really don't need to pay a penny to have lots of fun

Joined a bunch of sites when they first opened and offered life membership for free to build up a basic base, don't use any of them because we get less meets from them (if any) than we do from here.

Got over 300 meets to organise from here next week ...... ok well we have got about 300 people who have winked or messaged us and we have said we would like to meet up but we never hear from them again, dunno why they contact us in the first place lol

We are members of a paid site although we dont pay as we were one of the very early members to join so free lifetime membership. It has better chat rooms than here but that is all it is chat!!! we have had more meets off here than anyother site we are members of

The paid site I was on shared its databased with a number of other sites, including ones that pitched for peeps looking for extra-marital sex, grannies, etc. etc...

Sleezy IMHO, and I was glad to get out of it once I was introduced to FAB.

I've been a member of pay sites and free sites and I'd still say Fab ranks at the top. Even though I don't technically *need* to upgrade on Fab, I still do because I think it's worth supporting, unlike AFF which is well known for drawing people in with fake profiles and STILL has plenty of timewasters.

me personally ive been on pay sites & free sites & have had more luck on the pay sites than i have on here,(which is not hard as i have only met 1 person off here,& that was only for a drink),

at the end of the day they are sex sites.unfortunatly men have to get past the rules,age,size,shape,sexuality etc etc just to get a reply\meet.

Avoiding the term ‘time-wasters’ because that can just open another tin of worms… People who will never meet anyone do what they do for THEIR entertainment, I don’t see there is any reason to assume that they won’t pay for it. In fact where we might be inclined to think that there will be less dross on pay-sites does anyone not think that the dross can use this idea in the same context… because it’s a pay-site they are more convincing, you ‘assume’ they are genuine because they pay?

We’ve been on pay-sites and free sites and would say there is no difference whatsoever other than wasting money.

That said any site with a front page that says something like ‘free to register’ are just con merchants and on that basis what other tricks do they use to perpetuate their business?

One such pay-site, can’t remember the name of it made it VERY difficult to cancel the subscription, ended up having to tell my bank not to pay them. It then proved virtually impossible to delete our profile, they need to keep up the membership numbers to attract new members and satisfy advertising audits. Oh yes, and inside, a very high percentage were dead accounts and ‘no’ we never got to meet anyone either.

We joined Fab and LS, a paid site, just over 2yrs ago when we started this "hobby".

We had instant success on LS, and got most of our experience from there. For almost the first year here on Fab, no one even answered our mail

Since I have been posting here in the forums our fortunes have changed, and I have now cancelled our LS account, so that we can concentrate on our Fab buddies

We have also decided to attend as many Fab socials as we can.

Fab works for us, and it's free.

Similar story for us just add another couple of years. Looking back I think we had two successful meetings off LS when we first joined up and were subjected to being swamped with offers as we were ‘fresh meat’. We gave up with LS when the inbox went quite, didn’t see the point in paying money and getting nothing for it. Also at the time we left the forums were totally out of control, heard somewhere that they were taken off-line altogether at some point.

We’ve always had loads of contacts on FAB but very few ever worked out for whatever reason, mostly wannabies that never meet, then maybe they don’t suit us or we don’t suit them… which ever site, its always going to be a tall order all things considered.

I think with some paid sites my concern is mainly to do with how legitimate its members are.

Reference is made above to a certain well known site which many people will agree, whether in a couple or asa single, is a complete scam.

Unfortunately there are far too many out there which you join, get bombarded with messages and then get told you have to pay to see them. Try and cancel and it is just impossible!

I just feel very fortunate I have found this site, if it doesn't work out at least I won't be out of pocket

We are on a couple of other sites and find that many people on them are on here as well. We have found you don't get a better quality of meets from a pay site but haven't cancelled other memberships just yet although we are thinking about it.

I found paid site to be full of Cam Girls... you think your on to a lead to then find they want to show you their show... give me your credit card details as proof of age to sign in and then cancel once you've got pass the age verification... total crap!

And others where they give membership free to women but not the men? What's that all about... its just an open door for the above slappers! grrr!

The search features on some offer more options to seek by age, distance, colour etc. Also some features such as chat rooms are a slightly more user friendly .. But you can't beat the people you find on here

I was on a paid site and had plenty of meets. They had a "fetish" section so men knew where to find me.

I'm also on a few "paid" sites in as much the men pay the ladies don't. The downside is it's an amalgamation of several sites including ones for extra marital affairs and the men on these sites get stroppy when you say "no".

Fab has been fun for me and the forums an added bonus. This site suits me so there's no need to part with my hard earned dosh!

Pay site, free site ? The only difference between the 2 is the cost.

We were once members of a pay site and it had it's own quota of assholes, forum know it alls, smart arses, self righteous pompus gits, fakes, cheats and arse crawlers as this and every other site does, so if we can have those benefits for free, why pay 40 quid a year for it ?

i was on one lets just call it bn.... Which was awful, full of fakes and flirtcasts, and dubious billing practises, in 6months i got nowt, maybe 1 or 2 vague responses, and one girl is now a facebook mate.

Pearl was on same site as me, she introduced me to here

, had some meetings from there, but not alot, loadsa and loads of canceling\disapearing etc

Fab is one of the best, had no spam at all, and the website is nice

It depends on the pay site and how they restrict free access.

The one pay site we use limits non-paying trial members to 1 weeks access and that is limited so they can only see 1 'profile' picture.

This limits wanking material.

The cost of the site (high) also limits wanking / per pound value.

result is much less profiles but the profiles that are there are much less timewasters.

The pros - the people are experianced swingers, the validations are more secure, the site IS better laid out, the site is more Cpl-Cpl orientated.

The cons - less 'turnover' of profiles, less 'newbies'.

For us a mix of fabs and that site works perfectly.

Must stress that there are other pay sites that don't have those 'pros' and which have much greater 'cons'. Just try each and find what works for you.

Fabs is well worth the membership *cough* free *cough*

Just so you know, a certain adult site that has been mentioned above, as well as sharing the database with other sites (incl TV sites) also uses users pictures on their banner ads and front pages.

They even do this when you have left the site!

So while the paysite may have more bells and whistles, it didn't improve my chances!

Mmm have done various pay sites over the years, and most end up being covers for cams or the modern version of a business card in a telephone box.

This site is different it seems, you get to see about peoples day to day things.

Really must make it to a social or get more daring and going to a local naughty meet - working the next weekend alas.

The big difference is that the pay sites use dirty tricks to make you pay, like sending fake messages from fake people.

This is the only site we've found that doesn't do that.

The thing we like about going silver is being able to dock a cam, and the looked at me feature.

But you still get pretty much everything for free here anyway.

It's pretty obvious when it's a fake site when you sign up as a free male member and you then start receiving loads of emails from single women when you haven't even added a photo! Like that would ever happen haha!

I never paid a full membership for any of them sites. I have been on legit swinging pay sites but as I've said, it still doesn't guarantee a meet or didn't improve my chances.a

The benefits of gold or silver on here are pretty good on here I think, for not much money, you can see who looked at you, bigger pics, multiple cams in you use the chatroom, see the whole email conversation etc.

People don't take you more seriously if you're a gold or silver member I haven't found.

depends..i am on a couple of other free sites..ones where women are free but can pay for certain priveleges. The cheaper of the 2 is about 20 quid a month and lots of nice lads but loads of bloody timewasters. also noticed loads of girls under 25 who are working from another site getting the lads on cam and then asking for credit card details. the other im not sure how much but over 100 a month...well there are no time wasters there at all as if your paying that money your not there to waste time!! still dunno how many men actually get meets tho as there is as always a higher man to woman ratio...this site is just fine if you can tell whos fake and wasting time

This site is perfect and free, all the others are just poor money spinners! Take the subscription and go to clubs instead to meet people then add them on here.

Whenever we meet new people it is easier to say create an account on fab and find us than to ask them to pay. although I am only a member on here
