Any reccomendations on a decent photographer?

Hi people, we were wondering as we are pretty new, if anyone knew of a decent photographer who would be willing to take some pics of us and maybe one or two others...obviously they will be looked after.xx

WIll be travelling to York via Leeds end of Jan but that is a while off yet.

I recommend Bodyline Studio in Long Eaton. (Lee Henshaw profile on here). Some of my pics are taken there and there are many more on his profile. I'm not on commission incidentally.

To us a photographer is someone who takes photographs that anyone could be proud of. Many of the self proclaimed photographers on fab have little more than a very badly taken cock pic on their profiles - and they expect a paid commission based upon it.

Our advice would be to find a profile with pictures you like and approach the couple or single to take your photographs. This is a swinging site not a site for advertising a business, so we would expect even professional photographers on here to offer their services for no more than out of pocket expenses

Its to far for me to travel but i can also vouch for Lee Henshaw who not only is a good photographer he also has a great studio.

Completely agree. As a photographer, I have a strong voyeuristic streak. I like taking pictures because it gives me a buzz - no agenda, no need to be involved, no need to be paid. People here seem to have a hard time accepting that this isn't some kind of trick or con. It's an "interest" just like everybody else lists their interests and preferences here

John switches off sexually but because of his interest in erotica it come across in his work.

The problem we have is we can't show pics if we are not in them.

All of my best stuff is when I'm not in the frame.

I agree with your last sentence though.

I don't think its unusual for gen photographers doing work for no reward if its not their main income and they want to explore their art more. After all good models charge a fair fee. So swapping free modelling for great images seems sound to me (I'm only an hour from Sheffield..lol)

It is our main work for which John has won awards for but the only other decent pro near the OP is Lee who again is well known in the adult industry for his work in front and behind the camera.

great respect to any photographer who has made this genre their's and gets their deserved reward. Like many a wedding pro would say everyone with a phone is a photographer in their own minds and has the right to get under the pro's feet. Erotic photography is even harder than portraiture in my book.

That said photography is an art and beauty must always be in the eyes of the beholder.

I wouldn't want the specialisation in any genre but would love to probe some boudoir with non-professional models

Agreed to an extent but I would expect most pro photographers would not offer to do images on here for expenses but rather would say if you want my services here is my business number.

Pro photographers lose too much business to amateurs who under value the skills needed to create good images so my advice would be find a good studio who have a record of delivering boudoir shoots and more and pay for quality images (not cheap though)

Agree entirely. And erotic photography could mean soft and sensuous or hard and graphic. We enjoy the former, but fully understand that many prefer the latter. Although B doesnt consider himself a photographer, he could do a fair job at the sensuous but would fall far short at the graphic. So anyone looking for a photographer should be able to see the photographer's style - and unfortunately the usually pretty awful selfies on some "photographer's" profiles are not good adverts for either their style or pride in their work.

I would Love to take photos as would all The single guys but I am a crap photographer (not that I would tell you) I just want to join in. The above advice is spot on x

We also agree with this to a certain extent. However a professional boudoir photographer would not entertain taking explicit photographs of couples having sex, though they will provide high quality sensuous images.

The main point for this discussion though, is that the people who claim to be photographers on this site - even professional photographers - have pretty awful pictures on their profiles advertising their skills

Some top boudoir togs do glamour and more shoots... You just have to find the right one
