Ex military

I have first off got to say it has been an absolute pleasure over the year to serve. However, is being ex military something to admit. A lot of women are looking for uniformed men and I (was removed from service due to injury at role as eventually discharged with honours) feel bad claiming as there are men and women who I feel are doing 10x more than I could and should do

Someone's job is irrelevant so what someone used to do is even more irrelevant.

It reminds me of the ex-leper in Life of Brian

Whether you mention it or not is up to you, some women really like it, some are indifferent and some will filter you out because of it. As with all profiles let it reflect you. Good luck.

Depends on the nature of your injury/discharge....

Some women like the uniform, when it is worn by a tattooed muscle bound marine type.

Some like the confidence that an ex military man has.

Some like the idea of a squaddie because they buy in to the cliche of a bit of rough often seen on the TV.

It's a bit like expecting all nurses to be like the ones in porn films...

But saying you are ex military can be about as relevant as saying I'm an ex schoolboy when trying to entice ladies who like them younger.

Your career choices do not define you, although having served may have made you who you are.
