Hair removal

When I shave (below) fully I quickly get unsightly and painful in growing hairs. I also often nic my scrotum which obviously isn't painless!

Can anyone recommend a better way to remove unwanted hair that might be less uncomfortable and suitable for my partner too?

Nottingham

I just trim them, much more pleasant and natural than totally shaved

That's what I am doing at the mo, it's less irritating but I prefer the shaved look.

I have found the whole shaving, hairless, thing very uncomfortable.

Particularly when they start growing back and too short to trim, veet etc..

The short hairs itch like a bastard and feel like needles pricking you..

I have been using an electric rasor for a while now and it works for me.

Once the sking gets used to it its fine but exoect a few nicks here and there for a while becuase the skin is so thin there and not very tough

I prefer waxing. Doesn't hurt anything like as much as you expect

Essex.

We both use Veet or Nair. We alternate between them and use the sensitive ones when we can..

I (Risky) have one little area that can be sensitive but it's still not as bad as prickly shaved hairs growing back...

Thanks to everyone for the advice, I will try your suggestions. I once tried an epilator, never again!

All the best for the new year!

Exfoliate whatever you do!!!

Trim them first, then sitting in a nice hot bath to soften everything up, use a good quality shaving foam, I use Nivea for that area. Then I recommend getting a good quality multi blade razor either mens or ladies then just take it nice and slow. When you've finished use a bit of moisturiser. Works for me. Good luck. X
