i met a lady off here about 2 years ago, we ended up at mine and in bed, after an hour i asked if she knew anyone local, she named my mate, who was her cousin! we laughed then carried on,

i then bumped into her in the pub the following weekend

We've often recognised people we always ignore them, people don't want to be approached in their day to day lives.

been recognised a couple of times, ain't it wonderful to be famous. Can't really understand the people who have a problem with it. Therapy could help guys

We bumped into someone we worked with at a club. Was a strange moment when we had that moment of recognition, that moment of panic, then that moment of "fuck it, we're all here doing the same thing!"

Seen somebody from work and an old schoolmate on here. Said nothing as we respect the privacy of others.

It's not a matter of needing therapy, it's simply being discreet, respecting boundaries and time and place.

I've been recognised in a local supermarket by someone who was on my friends list but hadn't met. He didn't approach me but messaged me afterwards. My Fab life is separate to my everyday life.

We've spotted people in a club who work in our local supermarket and seen people out and about who we've seen/spoken to at a club.

In both cases we just walk on by. To us they two are kept quite separate and we always choose to assume that others are the same.

I have been recognised and had a message saying where and when later, when me and my partner were running our couples profile she was approached several times by blokes who though it was cool.

We are the same only a tactful person would approach someone they thought they recognised.

Jaq has been recognised twice now and each time discretion is assured. They did try to 'pull' her though and she put them straight without any messing about

A few people have recognised me but most just gave a gentle knowing nod, maybe a smile.

Except the guy in sainsburys that had his wife next to him.... He looked like a rabbit in headlights. Lolxx

I dont know how you guys do it, i dont recognise anyone even if ive played with them..... I dont even recognise Bev unless she tells me who she is when she walks through the door

I think its because most meets are in darkened rooms and im looking at other areas not faces

Was sat in beer garden in summer with sister and friend when this guy came chatting. Didn't know him from Adam then he said you don't know who I am? I apologised said no. Then he said... I been looking at you on an Internet site!!!!!

Scared me a little that that can happen..

Had a wonderful meet off here a few weeks ago, hot and horny.....

and went into MacDonalds a few days later and there she was right behind me in the queue, with her 2 kids and husband in tow!

Our eyes met just for an instant then we politely ignored each other!

Although one time a guy followed me round Tesco's acting really weird even though he was with wife and kids

He managed to catch me on my own at one point and it's you isn't it

Since that I don't show my face

I was at a club and some bloke I recognised as a TV reporter was talking to the girl I was with,he pretended it wasn't him but after a while I remembered he did football reports on the telly.

Both just laughed about it,who cares..

Most guys are great like a guy who I used to chat too has just messaged me and said he saw me with a friends, so didn't want to come say hello in case it embarrass me.

Sadly once again proving that some people are weirdos! Ive recognised people while out, quite a few in telford now. I tend to look and check out the goods and quietly to myself decide if I like what I see

If ever anybody comes up to me I'll be shocked! We keep our faces off our profile and our lives private as possible. C xx

I'd be amazed if people recognised me.

I've passed friends in the street who didn't recognise me and been in the same bar as work colleagues. None were any the wiser and it stayed that way.

A few years ago a girl at work asked me if I had had another fab weekend, it was not really what she had said more the way she had said it that alerted me. I checked to see who had viewed my profile it was clearly her even though she had no face pictures on her profile. Though we never met outside work we did occasionally have a laugh about the situation. We frequently exchanged witty but sarcastic comments to each other only when we were not being overheard.

I see loads of people off here IRL. But as I'm not a sociopath, I'd never address them face to face!
