Ive been in here as a single for a long time and as a couple for most of the last two years... One thing that still gets my hair off is what I feel is disrespectful conduct from singles to one half of a couple.

Its actually one of my biggest annoyances.. And what I mean is where someone basically ignores that there are two people on a couples profile.

For me it's simple.. just block and move on... But is that me being over sensitve? Or not understanding swinging as apparently it doesn't matter as we are not a "real" couple which for me, real or lifestyle after 2 years I think people should respect it regardless. ( And we meet up outside of the lifestyle too just not romantically )

So am I being over sensitive as some have said... ( when I've told them we won't meet because they have disrespected me or Lee depending )

You're not alone, its a real bug of ours too. Such a simple thing it is to acknowledge both parties when greeting a couple, yet overlooked on so many occasions.

Don't think you're being over sensitive, you're entitled to feel upset about people not taking notice of what you are.

Can guarantee it is partly down to some guys don't care what the other person wants, and they'd probably be a shit shag if we think about that more deeply. And partly to with some people thinking promiscuous women and men are up for anything. Probably other reasons i can't think of right now.

It's all about what's going on in their head. They're just getting pissy because they didn't get what they wanted and don't know how to apologise when they're in the wrong. Best off feeling the way you feel about them i think.

Being a single male I never message couples that state there not looking for single males those that are I always address them as a couple its only polite after all!

We get it all the time. It's pretty rude complimenting just one half you could at least say I have a lovely willy!!! In a non Bi way of course.

I want to make it clear this is not a whinge at single guys... I find just as many women contact ignoring me as do men ignoring Lee.

Simple things like asking one or the other if we could take them to a club x

Having this happen face ta face at a club is a telling time ... When they " didn't realize we were a couple" really?! Lol Behave! Just because some don't get the couples set up, it aint no reason to disrespect that fact . As once done, there is no turning back Luckely this is rare

The profile text says he meets alone, could be that. Or the fact it says you're 'friends'? Says you're friends not a couple so they may address you both separately?

We get people guys asking my partner what I like. He tells them to ask me directly.

Some guys might think they need to get the male's permission to speak to the female.

Yes we do, well he plays alone..And we maybe friends that are a couple on here but for me the fact we have a couples profile and have done for a long time.. can't understand why women will still act like I Dont exist or guys that Lee doesn't .... And what's incensed me today was that someone had asked one of us to go out for Nye... And that we go together as a couple. Not on in my eyes for them to treat either as a single on this profile...

Even Lees singles profile mentions me x

Most of the messages we receive are polite and recognise that we are a couple. However there are exceptions. One correspondent yesterday told S that "your husband must be crazy" because B "lets" her swing. Perhaps meant as a compliment but hardly likely to endear him to us. We are happy to answer messages from singles or couples, but please show both of us a little respect.

I'm not sticking up for them at all, sorry if it sounded that way. Just thinking of a possible reason why.

I actually think it sounds like the people doing the asking know damn fine you go as a couple and they are deliberately asking just one of you to piss you off. x

Just this morning I received a Friend Invite from a couple I have never spoken to, but after reading their profile they state that when they want a single man, they will find one, so I duly accepted their invite, as they have a great profile.

Soon after (presumably after viewing my private gallery which shows my face and full body pics) I'm off their Friends' list. I message them to enquire if that was a 'Thanks but no'?, and no message, just immediate block.

Not what I expected.

Yeah this grates our cheese too.Had one guy say that if Sabrina was his woman that he wouldn't let guys anywhere near her !! ?? Then in the same sentence, assuming he was talking to Sabrina asked if she would meet him and that they didn't need to tell me about it . naturally he was politely told to go forth and multiply with his own anus then blocked

I think it was the fact that as a couple, they state 'don't send an invite without messaging first' and then do just that to me, and as I obviously didn't meet their exacting requirements, I didn't deserve a message of any sort. Men have feelings too world
