I'd agree that if all these new restrictions are true then it's essentially just criminalising the porn industry in Britain and shutting it down - as there'll be little scope left.

To me we should just be trying to make sure that the women/girls and men/boys in the industry are not exploited in any way - and it's much easier to do that in a developed, first world nation than in a developing or undeveloped country.

It seems completely wrong and stupid to me. Xx

(I also prefer to have a british or American accent in my porn - being selfish)

It will get that far, its not just porn its, escort,web cam sites,swinging or anything adult a child could log into.

This site would have to be credit card entry and all our public photos would have to be clothed...all adult sites will be affected unless they change the way their site is.

With us it was moving our servers abroad etc but i have never known anything to be easy as we have always had to keep one step of changes.

In the last 18yrs there as been lots of them lol, we had the dawn raids and arrests when it was illegal and battled for the right as adults to view what we wish like other countries do.

S&M as fucked all of us as the government are using this as a first step to make porn and the practice of extreme S&M illegal again, unless its watered down to a level ATVOD like no one will be safe.

Fetlife and AW are changing their policies to go in line with ATVOD, i have never done anything extreme anyway so i like most of the changes to the extreme stuff.

No ATVOD controlled sites will be allowed and listed eventually as safe & any other porn site UK or abroad will be blocked by our service providers under government rulings starting with the free non card entry ones.

When this finally happens we will start another UK site under ATVOD rules as them sites will get all traffic.

It will work better for the UK producer in the end as at present we compete with 2,000,000 sites and when its only ATVOD controlled sites this drops to about 100/200 sites so if it earns us more we will produce whatever porn the UK say.

It just pisses us off that big brother watches and controls everything, also under government safety policies politcal news may also be censored so first porn then everything.

Most of us pro producers stick rigidly to the BBFC rules and common sense so this don't effect us, being based abroad for years i am out of their control anyway but do the style i do out of decency & not because i dont have a choice.

Getting rid of the cowboy producers might be a good thing but somehow i dont think it will stop there as its all out war on anything sexually dangerous & not just porn.

A friend of ours Rona helped make porn legal years ago as she was taken to court for naking porn as it still illegal then, the charge that her films deprived and corrupted people.

After the judge and jury watched some of her films her lawyer stood up and said as the judge & jury had seen the footage they were deprived & corrupted & not fit to carry on the trial.

If its extreme porn you get done full stop, making your own homemade normal legal porn is fine but putting it onto UK adult sites unclassified will be illegal until checked by ATVOD.

DVD and Video was outlawed to send through the UK postal system so we all send SD cards & USB sticks instead now as legislation dont quote these.
