So on another thread I had the thought that maybe a thread of profiles that ladies & couples have liked...we get so many threads from us single fellas wanting advice and thought how about one pointing out how to do it rather than having a go saying profiles are crap...

Apologies if this has ben done before or if people are pissed off with giving advice...just wanted to help my fellow singletons...

Most of the guys that are seeking advice are unwilling to help themselves so spoon feeding them advice, how to's or showing them good ones is unlikely to help out in the long run because they're in the mindset of 'I've got my profile up here now, one cock shot, I'll sit and wait for the pussy to come flocking to my door'

They have to work it out for themselves.

I have to agree. Not to mention that, though I applaud your social spirit and thoughtfulness, consider this - How many single guys do you think are likely to go looking for a nice helpful thread offering sound profile advice, when they already can't be bothered to search the forums to see if the question they're asking might have already been asked.

In some cases i've seen up to three similar threads on the same day.

It would appear that, in general, people don't search the forums here.

Other forums i've been a member of have strict rules regarding posting threads on subjects covered previously - and these rules state that you should search the forums for answers to your question.

A shame really, because such a thread would otherwise be a fantastic idea

I don't mind giving advice, I was new once and a little unsure.

I do get what you mean about the laziness I guess, I just think back to how I found it when I was starting out...daunting to say the least

I must admit to been slightly hypocritical because I do scorn when I see a " I can't get a meet help me " post Because when I first came on here I did ask too The difference is I took the advice and looked at other guys profiles who was doing well and changed lots of things ie pics and profile text. What gets me is when someone posts and everyone gives good advice Then the same guy is on 2 months later with the same pics and profile asking again.

Yes that's just stupidity, like you bud I tried taking the advice and think mine is looking ok at the min, needs fresh pics but otherwise ok...but it's the newcomers I'm thinking of...the ones who may not know about the multitude of previous threads on it...we could do with a sticky about looking for advice before posting a new thread
