Come on guys be truthful. What first attracted you to fab, what were you expecting? Has it lived up to your expectations? Have your expectations changed? Are you now looking for or are into something completely different than you were in the beginning?

I am very interested to find out, I have a theory but don't want to share until I see some honest replies.

Me personally I'd been to a couple of clubs before I heard about the site.

I like the social side of it aswell so being able to chat with people like myself without being judged by my friends outside of this is brilliant.

If anything else happens that comes from this is a bonus for me.

The casual sex site i was on went down the pan and a member here suggested i try it. On the basis that I'm after chat, forum banter and the possibility of some fun i gave it a go. As for expectations, 2/3 aint bad so far.

I think that everyone is genuinely trying to advise you for the best. This really isn't the place for someone who is vulnerable emotionally and it isn't fair on those you meet either.

I hope you can find some peace and a way forward but I believe you are looking in the wrong place.

i was introduced (well corrupted) into swinging by other people and they suggest sites like this.... I have never been on the Casual sites like AFF.....

so did my research and before i started posted i get a feel for the lay of the land so i wouldn't make the mistakes that others did...

yes, originally came for the sex (who didn't) but very much stayed for the social side and the community

I am taking g this with an open mind i know i am not the best looking bloak around. And i also realise i do not necessary have that personity. I realised that from overhearing girls conversations and a few years on dating sites.

just another site you don't really know what they are about until you join ,most of these sites are top heavy with men and this is no exception ,you can't really have conversations here but it does have an array of facets ,chat rooms ,cams,the forums and the browsing section Havnt met anyone yet but have met via text some interesting and intelligent women who I would love to investigate more on a negative note have come across a few really quiteo narrow minded women who shall remain nameless but know who they are,you are however lovely

I didn't have a clue, my mate suggested this site to me as I can be a horny fucker on times haha.

So I came for a look. I actually don't mind it, there are some rare people about on here but there's some fucked up people in the real world to! I don't understand singles only meeting singles, I know some go to clubs and play with other and that I get, but don't understand how 1 on 1 is swinging. I'm not judging and each to there own, live and let live, I just don't get it. Maybe somebody can educate me...

I may be in the minority here, but mff was certainly not one of them. Although I have experienced it. Well you can't say no, can you?

A friend told me this site was better than the one i met her on so i joined, must admit she was right and its a lot cheaper for guys. Did,nt have any expections though as all these site are the same too many guys not enough females and couples, am i looking for anything differant no. I agree with you there, I would define swinging as a group of people not necessarily in any kind of relationships meeting for an evening of socialising. Maybe have a meal or some drinks, a bit of a get together and then ultimately ending in sex.

However times change and ideas evolve to the make the idea of swinging into maybe something different. My own personal experience on here would be more casual sex than swinging but in a more refined way of selecting and corresponding with people before hand and keeping in touch.

Im a single guy and joined this site as an outlet to try and explore my sexuality in ways that i wouldn't be comfortable doing on other sites. There is a certain escapism on here i find where people can be someone new and try different things without it effecting their 'normal' life.

Reading that back sounds like i have made this site as some sort of personal religion, i don't mean to make it all too heavy it is all just lighthearted fun at the end of the day and a way to blow off some steam. It has no way changed who i am just allowed me to try new things in the bedroom with different people.

Its great though innit.

For me ( him lol)

It was because I had really only ever had sex with one person who didn't get any enjoyment from the sex act ? She enjoyed foreplay ( me on her !) but anything thing else was normally to late for her as she was tired by the foreplay?

So once away from that ! I wanted to experience things I had missed in my younger years ? But didn't have the self confidence to play alone with a lady who knew what she wanted !

Most couples however join because of the lifestyle and not just because of the free sex.

As old school, I used to buy my monthly copy of "Forum", a packet of stamps and write off to other "lifestyle" (not called swinging then) readers...

The anticipation of a letter and invite back took upwards of 2 weeks..

As others (I suspect) Fab was recommended to me by a lady from another site.

Originally I was always after NSA meets and sex, the free messaging, forums and chat rooms were a big draw. Was probably as I expected, hard bloody work for a single guy but rewarding because of the variety of people (singles and couples) you can chat to and meet.

As for things changing, as demonstrated by this profile, I've found an amazing buddy to explore and have double the trouble with!!

So yes, my expectations and desires have totally changed now.

It was recommended to me by a female friend after I split up with my fb. She told me that I didnt have to swing as their were single ladies looking for single guys too. What she didnt know was that Id wanted to go to a swingers club years ago but didnt have the balls to do it. So I registered on here on a monday, on tuesday I went to my first club, on thursday I went to my second club and became a member, on saturday I wasn back again.

8 months ago if youd told me in the next 8 months I'd have done half the things I have done I wouldnt have believed you. threesomes, foursomes, group sex (9 being the max so far), gangbangs, among lots of others.

Its been a wonderful journey so far and Ive met so many great people, singles and couples. From now on any woman would have to be bloody amazing to convince me that a vanilla relationship is a better alternative. I just wish Id done it years ago when I didnt have the balls to do it.

Finding meets is sometimes hard work through people gettin messed about but worth while when i get them could do with makin some new friends and a few party invites always welcome

Thats exactly how I use fab now. There is so much competition that your message gets hidden in a big pile of other messages. I much prefer to meet face to face in a club where you can socialise and interact with other like minded people.

However a woman I knew from fab kept pleading witth me to return so at a difficult time for her on here I relented and rejoined to please her- then almost immediately she formed a couples profile with another guy,deleted her singles profile and now refuses to acknowqledge me

Judging by others responses to this post I am sure I am not the only one who thinks your reference to low morals is offensive.

To my mind being a swinger is about being open minded and enjoying sex in a way that steps beyond the conventions that "society" deems acceptable. Being on a swinging site rather than a casual sex site increases the chances of finding other like minded people.

The fact that I swing (yes I do swing, despite this being a single profile I also have a joint profile with my partner) does not mean that I have low morals at all, my morals here are no different or lower than my morals in my vanilla life. I treat people with respect and expect the same in return. The fact that I enjoy sex the way I do and with who I do has nothing to do with morals.

Was on AFF for a few years before i joined here, used to get meets on there and also attend the group socials thing much the same as here really, but that site went downhill fast in a very short space of time, crappy site updates/changes and far too many fake profiles allowed onto the site, so i looked for something else and found Fab.

So glad i did, and not long after joining here found some of my old friends from AFF had also come here (seems a lot of people left there and came here during the same time period). Yes i initially joined here for the sex/meets, but i have also always enjoyed the social side of swinging and got into the forums and the group meets/socials organised on here aswel. Also enjoy going to swingers clubs and get to know people through the clubs on here aswel. Sometimes use the chatrooms on here too, i am also single and would be great to meet a long term girlfriend/partner who is into the swinging scene (still looking for her) so it is a good mix of all those things put together.

Not sure what to do really. Its a shame, as there is some genuinely lovely people on here, but the much maligned "single guy" appears at face value to be the butt of the Swinger world. Even this post asking why single guys join says it all for me.

Well I was on another site and some friends recommend fab to me and it has been the best year ever.

Why a swingers site?

I swing both ways and it's been the perfect place to meet all walks of life. But I do crave finding a partner to settle with and swing together but I do not think I will find one here. But never say never.

Ok honest answer I joind as I have very little sexual experience and was also looking into trying the Bi thing have used toys for years . I thought meeting a couple who had a bi guy would be a good way to try it and this site seemed to offer that scenario on a fairly simple basis.
