Pop off and join the paying sites if that is what you really think then.

I will stay on here and wait for you to come back to this one and post another thread titled "There are as many timewasters on pay sites too!"

In saying that what you would call a "timewaster" might be what others call "having a choice and they don't want to meet you!"

Just my opinion though!

How many Pay sites are you a member of (I am a member of 5)

What ratio of success to timewasters to genuine meets do you get on them

(We find them not worthing bothering with but we are life members because we joined many years ago when such memberships were common)

Why are you still on this site if it is so much worse than the pay sites you use

Is that what it is then? People get off on leading pen,ld on, weird! We often get to the point of exchanging numbers, then they disappear, wondered what was going on, didn't think we were that awful. How do people spot the fake profiles???

its not the sites pay or 'free'....

this aspect of peoples lives(wont call it a lifestyle far too american)is going to attract all sorts which tbh is to be embraced then again it will attract tw's, dreamers, cam wanking males (wtf is that about lol)etc etc

its frustrating at times but just sift through them and there are some fabulous people out there

i dont actually agree with that, i am a member of many sites some pay sites ands some free, amd to be honest i get more meets from this site than any other im on

You do get time wasters on pay sites, believe me ive had them, but if you feel that strong about it leave fab and pay to join another x

I find that compared to other paid sites this works just as well.

I think there are more single men with chips on their shoulders than on pay for sites, but been around long enough to deal with them. :D

Its part of it as far as I am concerned.

You get time wasters and fakers everywhere.

I think i must just be really lucky as the amount of time wasters i get is minimal, but then again i suppose it depends what you call a time waster, ive been called a time waster by a few guys on here because i dont want to meet them after we have chatted for a while, to me not wanting to meet someone does not make someone a time waster.

Ive had a few last min cancelations, some i believe had genuine reasons, some i just felt like was an excuse, and the odd no show but over all most of the guys i have arranged to meet has turned up, i havnt liked all of them but thats just something that you cant do anything about, ive had a fair few house party meets from off here which have all been good nights and ive gone to most of the site club meets which i really like as you get to put faces to names.

Fabs worked well for me over the past year and ive met some really nice people

I personally cant complain

due to bein typical stingy scottish i refuse to pay free does me!! that way im not goin to be moanin that iv wasted hard earned cash if nothin comes out of it excuse the pun!!

for a free site iv had more mind blowing sex and met some amazin people i would never have met otherwise, and also made some friends i will never meet and never cost me one iota!! x

A lot of guys join this site and think meets will just come to them, they dont want to make any more effort than send a message, get a reply saying yes i'll meet you and then hop in a car to someones home

Well it just does not work like that

thing is even if they are fake, for example a couple, a man could be setting it up as a couple and make up some story as to why the fem couldnt join so yes if people are that desperate they will pay for a site fakes or not

How come everytime you get a post in the forums like this the person who starts the thread, normally accusing everyone of being fake, never makes another post in said thread and more often than not, disappears completely

Never actually met a fake, but for anyone who has, can they please confirm if they look like cardboard cut-outs or more like blow-up dolls

How do people spot the fakes?

In our opinion its simple "feedback" we often think we have to much of it (all though most of its is from couples we meet again and again)

We get so many messages from couples who want to meet us, but after looking at a profile it shows the couple has joined over a year ago in some cases and still no meets!

Like the feedback system or not, it has helped us.

If a couple has been on the site more than a couple of months and not met any one, we dont meet. Its that simple.

Before we get replys saying well its had to sort out a meet when you have kids etc...yes we agree, but then why join knowning it will be months before you can get your first meet.

This is just our opinion and it has worked for us.

Peoples perceptions of time wasters vary, I myself have been accused of being one and I didn't even agree too meet the guy, but because I was on here whilst I was getting ready to go to work he said I was wasting his time, i'm on here for fun and that's what I have, if I get the run around there's always the old faithful block button

not sure why people think just because its free here you get more time wasters ... On most the other sites there are loads too and lots call themselfs swingers but not really ,,, and thats the thing i think some its people dreaming and just dont have the gutts to meet in real life. Interesting to note that the OP chooses not to pay for this site do you think that makes him a timewaster ?

There is an option to stop those who choose not to pay from contacting you, therefore the choice to make it the same as a paysite is in the hands of the members simplezzzzzzzzzzz

We are members of a number of paysites, we use this one because there are less timewasters on here than there are on them

You can spot them though. Men who've recently broken up with a partner and feeling vulnerable. They think they want NSA but just want human contact and to chat!

Met a few of them, they're really looking for a girlfriend! When I've said I'm not looking for a relationship I've been called "too promiscuous!"

Interestingly I once joined a paysite that has a certain elasticity of truth. They offered life registration but it expired after a month. They then claimed that the wording says this needs a monthly fee to keep it active. It may do but only once you are a member. As my membership has lapsed I cannot check it.

However, the answer to the OP's dilemma might be illustrated thus.

Whenever I pop onto the site and use my name and password it tells me I'm not a member. However it does then email me to say I have new contacts. Next time I log in I see them to entice me to cough up the readies. Then a week later it tells me the contact details have been removed from my inbox. They have, but as soon as I repeat the process the circle starts again. So I have time-wasting bots as well as time-wasting humans.

What will they think of next?

tis difficult sometimes to spot fake profiles but once you start to exchange mail you can usually tell cos fakes start asking you immediately what you like what your partner likes, what u been doing and asking for more photos instead of being genuinely sociable and interested.

What is the definition of a time-waster?

We can only ever guess why a prospective meeting falls over as typically the people concerned do not explain or when they do people choose not to believe them, I wonder why that is?

Chatting to a couple one time about 11pm when they said...

"Is your misses there with you"

"No, she's in bed by 10pm, up at 4am for work at 5am, if you want to talk to her it will have to be before 9pm"

A couple of days later around 11pm...

"Can we speak to your misses?"

"No, told you last time... repeat work stuff"

They was about to go into abuse mode when I hit the block button!

There can be a million and one reason why a prospective meeting might fall over at anytime but I guess this thread needs to link into the one about 'Fair and Reasonable Punishment'...

It seems that most people think its OK to be rude as in just cutting off communications, that is until it happens to them.

i wont name names,but over the weekend i politely declined an offer from a male,he messaged 4 more times and the last one was a bit ott,i blocked the person,anyway he basically said that alot of couples were here for the thrill,just cause i said no,despite it saying not looking for males on our profile,

my point is as has been said a few times here,dont take rejection to hard,it happens,if you were in a bar on the pull,would you go to pieces if someone turned you down
