Deleted verifications - impact and prevention

Verifications disappear when the originators leave the site but the total count and type of verification remains. When looking for verified profiles is the count considered to be of relevance or does the lack of a visible verification prejudice judgement? Is copying the verifications into the profile considered a useful prevention against losing goid verifications?

For people who have been on here for a while, it becomes accepted that some play friends will wander off and leave.

I've quite a few on my count that aren't on the site any more.

If anyone asks, I am happy to show the ones I do have.

I don't like seeing verifications copied into profiles,just seems like a desparate form of self promotion,you could make up any old rubbish about yourself and claim it was from someone who has since left the site
