I have had my nipples and clit pierced, I quite fancy a sternum piercing, other half says he's not mad on them but happy for me to have it done. What are people's views on them and has anyone had it done?

Why would you want that? Can't say it would be that I would find it attractive at all. Might even put me off.

Saw a nice pic, highlighted cleavage and looked small and dainty x

If you have it done make sure the piercer has experience.

If done with a bar they are usually only temporary piercings, with a high chance of rejection, which if not caught in time can lead to scarring.

If you want a more permanent piercing, go with dermal anchors.

Both options hurt like a bitch. I haven't personal experience, but have chatted to a piercer about getting it done.

I've had it done, yep. Very dainty and will probably have it done again soon, I'm feeling inspired.

Also known as a dermal implant. They are a small piece of jewellery that is inserted into the skin using a small cut and the jewellery 'popped' inside, under the skin. That is a really crap explanation, maybe just Google!!

How many are you getting? A bit random but one of the sexiest looking piercings I've seen was a girl with corsets on the backs of her legs. Looked amazing with the ribbons threaded through. She did say the pain was the worst she'd ever experienced. I think there was about 10 tapering downwards. I'd love to have the guts.

I'd love a corset piercing. But they aren't permanent piercings, and they cost a small fortune for something that will only last a week. Maybe if I do Torture Garden next year.

I keep looking at dermal anchors. I'm tempted to have 1 each side of my chest where my 'dimples' are now I've lost weight.

Then I watch 'Tattoos after dark' and think oochie!!

I've had my sternum piercing, same

Bloke who pierced my nipples, just on way home, the pan was fleeting and not as bad as nipples or vch, he said with looking after there is no reason there shouldn't be longevity in them x
