What to do in London

I am off to London today for a couple of days. I was hoping to have a meet or visit a pub/club whilst there. Any ideas so I don't end up just a lonely old man sat in my hotel all alone?

Put a meet up. If unsuccessful visit a club. If unsuccessful then take in many of the sights, sounds and amazing experiences London has to offer.

You'll only end up bored and lonely in your hotel room if you allow yourself to.

There's loads to do in London if you can be bothered to get out there and do it. However, I suspect you'll be sitting lonely behind the keyboard waiting for it to come to you.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

If you want a club you may struggle, as there are no standard ones in London centre. Have a look on the clubs page, but also maybe Google some relevant words like swinging London, adult parties London, and so on. If you are OK to travel then Rios and Our Place 4 Fun are in North London.

Otherwise, I would just forget about the sexy stuff and go for the other stuff. London is an amazing city to visit. Get a river bus to Greenwich, go up the Shard (ooer!), all the museums and lots of the art galleries are free, the oldest pub in London is on Fleet Street, Greenwich park is awesome, and so on.

^^^this. OP have you only found out this morning that you're going to London for a few days? No, thought not. As soon as you knew you were going you could have contacted some local ladies/couples/men, whoever it is your looking for, and started up a conversation which could possibly lead to a meet.

That's what I do. No lonely nights or nasty surprises (so far anyway ).

Oh and PS OP, if you pop Fab on your mobile at midnight and turn on 'whos near' you'll be killed in the rush, although that might not be the case for blokes.

Well you've already put a meet up so why bother asking us!!!

And it's your choice to be a lonely old man in your hotel room - you're in London - stopping feeling sorry for yourself and get out and see the sights - one step in a pub and you're soon start chatting to ppl - they don't have to be swingers - London is great and if I had the opportunity I'd be cramming as much in as I can!!!

Thank you for suggestions. I was being a bit tongue in cheek over the sad lonely old man. I agree there is plenty to do and see and I shall certainly be making the most of it. I was just open to some suggestions really.
