Waiting!

Ok, so you arrange a meet somewhere, you arrive at the hotel they're at and you let them know. They say they're 10 mins away and they just need to get changed, then.......SILENCE!

An hour and three unread messages later you're still there.

How long do you wait before you decide 'time waster' and go home???

They're taking the piss, especially if you've been waiting an hour. Go home, don't waste anymore of your time

About 30 mins - about the time it takes to drink a coffee.

If they told you 10 mins then I would finish my drink and leave.

As to kot responding I'm guessing they saw you and thought you nit for them.

Never been stood up but I'd wait for as long as it took me to finish my drink then leave.

I'm a tad confused.

You arrive at the hotel they're at and they're ten minutes away?

Had they gone for a stroll or a drive?

A

Maybe they hadn't booked in, running late or maybe they were just full of bullshit and had no intention of ever going??!!

Hmmm yes, you did shout it out VERY loudly that you'd caught crabs I've only been back once and had to go in disguise.

Did they clear up by the way? rolf

She was supposedly stopping at the hotel as she was in the area for work. She was on her way back to the hotel from wherever she was working that day (apparently) and was 10 mins away.

Thanks for coming back!

Was it a well verified 'she' that you'd spoken to or was it all arranged via messages on here?

The latter will sadly leave you open to these things happening - the former doesn't guarantee anything but will reduce the likelihood.

Hopefully you hadn't travelled far and at least you weren't paying for the room.

Better luck next time!

A

I'd get really d*unk, invite over loads of people and have a great night

Joking aside, I'd just wait around half an hour or have a slow pint while I'm waiting. Guessing you didn't swap numbers?

Yep, we had a pint and a bit of food while waiting. We didn't have to travel far so it wasn't that bad.

She had my number, never reciprocated though. Ah well, her loss!

It's a real shame people have to do that, I understand no one like confrontation but if you aren't interested just say no
