Well the term "spade" can be considered racist. For instance would you find "Queen of n*****" to be ok. I can see how it could be offensive.

Queen of spades is referring to women who prefer black guys.

lala land

The playing cards symbol usually with a 'Q' above or inside. It connotes white women with a sexual preference for black men. It can be seen on tee shirts or even as a tatoo. Also a way for a white woman to let potential black lovers know she is available.

But in what context?

Nope your not, however a party uses the symbol as tattoo's for ankle or boob and they seem to be accepted by many on here .

would men like me to get a tattoo of a black cock(as in the birdie) with the word 'adores' around it on my bum cheek

one side of the argument could agree that if you view the term 'spade' as disrespectful

the other side is that the lady prefers a certain type of person, which is defined above

so the pros of being someones preference meet the cons of the term used to describe someone, I think

Who was behind the whole idea? And how did spade become synonymous with black men?

I've often wondered the same when someone puts 'she has been blacked'.

But I guess if its not offensive to black guys, who am I to question?

I've never heard the term before,I do think it's disrespectful, along with other terms denoting the types of people other people spend time with

"Who was behind the whole idea? And how did spade become synonymous with black men? "

Stems from "black as the ace of spades". The use spade started in America as a derogatory term.

Ive spoke to a few men about this symbol, some think about the past and what it use to symbolize, saying they wouldnt be interested in a woman with this symbol as a tattoo, yet ive seen there verification on a womans profile who has the tattoo,so that does confuse me. Some men have refused to meet woman wearing it.

Some men are not worried about it at all as its now becoming a widely used symbol in the swinging scene

personnelly I wouldn't have the tattoo whether permanent or tempory, as I do listen to the men, some do feel its disresptful

Is it any more disrespectful for women/couples to specify "black only"?

If a woman wants to express a preference for who she fucks, she has that right & if black guys are ok with it........?

I find people want to find offence for the sake of offence. I attended many a party where black guys were calling each other by the N word I'm sure if I said the same I would have been ejected.

That's a context thing though, heard it used many times by black guys talking and referring to white guys as the same. It's about intention really, the word is usually associated (correctly so) as derogatory though

Yes TCJ it is disrespectful. As a fully fledge bbc lover calling someone or referring to them as a SPADE is a no no.

Actually proclaiming to be the queen of spades is the most arrogant thing iv ever heard. As discussed privately its has nothing but slavery Conutatians and I would never use it to Describe myself.

I made an innocent comment at the start of a thread about an Ace of Spades tattoo on here once. By the end of the thread I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. I had NO idea what it meant at the time

Calling a spade, a spade,as in upfront, im not sure if people would look at this as racist.

They got rid of the gollywog on the jam jars though, that sort of thing, people did see it as racist

Wow, I am amazed with this thread

So it is disrespectful to a woman being fucked by 4 blk guy at time?

Or maybe doing blow job?

As some ppl say "no way, my wife is no sucking my dick, never ever! She kisses our kids on forehead with those lips, how dare u"

chill out, don't find racist, where are just simple compliment as preference for dark skin, for different sexual energy

And even if I never had Queen of Spades tattoo, I find it quote attractive.

It is not so graphic, it is close to Alice in Wonderland or Eyes wild Shoot.

If they were calling anyone anything then is must be taken in reference. If they are using a term with a history of racism (and violence) then that is mildly different.

I think this is 'of an era', where people develop, and as a result realise that once acceptable phrases are now a little 'old hat', mostly due to education and a large dose of equality.

Ok, give me history lesson. Maybe I am missing something.

How the term Queen of the spades were used in old times and how it is referred to slavery?

Sometimes I find people accusing others of racism is a form of racism in itself, not everyone uses terms to be racist some people hear a comment and think it's correct. As a White guy I've been accused of treating someone different because of the colour of their skin I'm the last racist person you'll meet. However I've also been a victim of racism but seldom it's taken serious when directed at White people. Just look at some names of interracial porn that don't help.
