Connexion: Pornstars & Drug Use

Having recently heard (& saddened) about the drug overdose of Haley Paige, I was left wondering: does anybody know if the majority of pornstars act to fund their habit, or it may be that they're introduced to drug use along their careers path, & because they can now afford it, succumb to the drugs addictive qualities.

I have been in this industry for almost 2 decades shooting 100's of girls and guys and have never seen one hooked on drugs, if a person turned up on set out of their face I or any other producer I know would send them home.

Had quite a few with hang overs lol but no worse than that, like any industry some might hide the fact but I ain't seen much on the Pro scene.

But because of peoples regard for 'Pornstars' in this country (or lack of them), I wouldn't imagine it's something the British porn industry has to worry about much.

But the USA has more of a porn industry & drug culture, so I reckon many stars may use it to pay for drugs, something I think is a shame . . .

There are about 200 Pro stars and about 3000 amateur stars so we have a big network, most probably more drug users in banking than in porn in the UK lol.
