Makes me laugh when they say this. Wot about if they said younger than my parents older than my children younger than my cousin and older than my brother ??

If it's your preference then just say older than 22 for example not go on about family members age.

I do like they look of a lot of young guys but it just makes me feel weird to meet them so i tend to stay above 30

i have turned down loads of really nice looking guys in their 20s and thought why aren't i 15 years younger

We have meet some very young people, but they have held themselves very well, and come across as much older and maturer Cpls,

On the other hand we have meet a few older people that if there age was a reflection of how they acted they wouldn't be allowed a profile on fab.

I'm sure there will be lots of 'age is just a number' type posts on here but truthfully, even though they'd be perfectly legal, as a 42 yo male I'd feel a little bit creepy or like a dirty old man seeking out and sleeping with an 18 or 19 year old girl for example.

I'm not making any judgements on those that do have big age differences as I'm sure you can find your soul mates at any age but it's just not right for me.

I do try to believe that age is just a just a number as off FAB my friends range in age from 20 to 62. However the vast difference in the type of messages I get why I lower my age range from 28 to 26 is scary - I very quickly increase it back again.

Saying that some of the messages I get from 40 plus can be equally scary but in a different way - that's more personality based than age

I would say that the lower you go, the more immature you are likely to find. And reality shows me that I would almost never sleep with someone under 24. But... I just wouldn't stereotype or tar someone with the same brush. Everyone gets a chance whether they are 18 or 60, because for me, that's having respect for who they might actually be

I like to meet for a drink and a chat first, I think mental stimulation is as important as physical, I just can't see what I'd have at all in common to talk about with say a 18 to 21 year old, what would someone my age have to say that they would be vaguely interested in

Id rarther meet guys older than me, they seem to be more, dare i say it, 'normal' than some younger guys on here. But as people have already said, i meet for a social at first and if the attraction is there, who cares about how old/young the person is

Because some people aren't happy with people living their lives, they think they know better about how they should be living them too

I dont really have age limits as i tend to like those younger than my self as a geek i tend to find things to talk about. But as others have said some are to imature. So yes its defenatly the connections needed.

We have our age limit on our profile, that being said though when playing in a club environment you can't be too sure of people's ages so it could maybe end up being lower although it hasn't so far

If swinging i always prefer women 35yrs+ but in films/pics i have shot with women 19-72yrs depending on what material is needed.

Mature women are far more comfortable with themselves & how they conduct themselves than younger women but you will get the odd younger woman that can make your toes curl so never say never lol!

That's the thing - my children are very young so playing with a girl who is 19 is not a problem for me atm (and I have done), but once my girls get to be around that age, I don't think I'll be interested any more.

i had a 21 year old when i was 34. He wasn't very experienced but he was very keen and very appreciative. He was very sweet too but sweet isn't top of my list in a lover.

The amount of times these post come up, what difference does it make asking the select few who do use the forums as it's often similar people who end up posting. Or at least you get similar posts in each one. However a couple of points that did interest me reading the replies to this particular thread.

Firstly Naughtynymphos, I think it is interesting that you think people my age wouldn't be interested in what you have to say. Although that may be true of some people my age, those of us who have transitioned to this site are likely to have somewhat different views to those who don't I would imagine. Age has very little to do with what interests you hobbies, politics, films etc can be a fabulous leveler I find. I can easily have conversations with my fathers work colleagues or the people much older than me on my masters course. Obviously I understand this wasn't your only point about the younger generation but just my views on that particular point.

The other one I found interesting was from Sekz, (although it was similarly replied to by someone else). As mentioned quite often on these threads it has nothing to do with the fact that we aren't out in the 'real world' looking for partners, I have made the decision to slowly move into the swinging world as it is something which I am interested in, in the same way I am with the BDSM scene. If you like something sexually why not explore it no matter your age, if I find someone outside the site then great but I don't think I should limit myself from trying things which I find interesting just because I am younger than many people who get into the swinging scene.

Plus on this note should I find someone on this site who I have a connection with (although not what I am actually looking for) and a relationship grew from there then all the better as meeting someone within this scene is a sure fire way to avoid the awkward so what are you into conversation later down the line.

If any of that makes me seem like I am ranting or having a go it really wasn't my intention just offering a couple of insights, sorry its quite the ramble.

Not at all, your points are all valid. When these threads appear I contrubute, just for fun really and my comments will always be similar. I support your point about the ability of younger men to converse, as I have had the most interesting exchanges with the young men I see, in all manner of things, including space, time and the universe in general! I don't take umbrage to your post, it is exactly what a forum is meant for after all.

As quite an experianced swinger on here and other sites over the years id say the younger ladies eg in there 20's have the firm bodies and look bloody good .

But id go over 35's anyday now !

A good rule of thumb of the youngest to play with is:

half your age + 7 years.

We wouldn't go any younger.

I'm only 24, but I have turned down 18 or 19 year olds in bars/clubs because they seemed a bit too young for me and I felt a bit creepy. And yet with others that age I haven't felt like that at all. For me, I think maturity and sexual confidence are more important than actual age.

I enjoy meeting older women on here, but if they came off overly shy or immature in their messages, that would seriously put me off.

Hmmm well I've always had older girlfriends, all the way back from school (obviously I have also been with people my own age but rarely younger). My fb is older and I couldn't see a one on one with someone younger than 25, even then I'd be sceptical, but you never know!
