I've had both: purely just watching sessions (and very happy to do so! Boundaries are there to be respected) and a meet where all I expected was watching but they did invite me in (which was entirely their move).

Provided the guy is respectful, is very clear on boundaries and doesn't go in expecting anything more I'm not sure what else he can do? I'd love to watch another exhibitionist couple and I'd never expect anything more
