My greyhound has a coat for the winter, I'm not a nutty dog owner he has it because he needs it not cause it's cute

we have evolved to wear clothing, as our body hair became less & less, dogs have plenty, the reason for that is,,,,,,,,,,,,, you guessed it, they are still equipped for the outdoors & don't need clothing,

skinny dogs who are older and don't run around yes . . But have they survived thousands of years without being dressed up ? . A dog jacket is for the dog . Anything else is for the owner's vanity

depends on the breed as i said above my greyhound has a coat, these breeds need them, they have zero body fat and very short hair because they originate from warmer climates and are not suited for our winters, if mine don't wear his coat when it's cold he actually shakes, he knees still knock when he does have it on

Biggest problem ive got is frank (my dog) gets his fur cut every 8 weeks so it's to stop him from feeling the chill. He's a small dog aswell...

Yes I do ! She has a devil costume for Halloween. Wears a rain coat when it's wet , a hoody when it's cold , a dress to a party

Didn't realise you have a greyhound too, I've had my bitch for 5 years shes becoming a right lazy moo now enjoying her retirement

Most have a nice fury coat that gets thicker in winter... So no don't dress our dog up at all! That said some older, frail dogs may need a little help i spose in the winter? ... But tutu's n doggy shoes ... Nah! Not for us at all lol .... They are dogs not toy dolls!
