By (user no longer on site) OP

I'm just posting this topic to see whether men and women prefer normal weight looking women I.e size 10-12 rather the whippet skinny looking where you'd love to force them to eat steak.

After having a kid myself iI feel like there is an average size that being size 10-12 . I'm a 10 at the minute but feel I've to lose a bit more

it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, go with what you're happy with. You will never be right for everyone so there's no point trying.

Size and weight are just numbers. A woman confident in their own skin is far more attractive and a turn on. That said, I prefer a woman to be womanly, curves rather than a stick insect.

Women in my view should never lose weight for others; only if they feel uncomfortable in themselves

i think he was referring to the fact you called a slim woman a stick insect rather than you not liking them, no different to calling a big women a beached whale, but then the OP has referred to slim women as whippets, I can see this thread ending in tears

Different men (and women) prefer different things. You can't please everyone so why bother trying! If you want to lose weight, do it. If your happy as you are stay that way...

Did you really need to be rude to get your point across....whippet skinny where you'd love to force them to eat steak!

Couldn't have said it any better!

I am a bag of bones or a skinny whippet you said and i'm a size 4 in clothing, its the size i choose for a 5ft frame. I've had kids and lost the weight through choice but i can't force feed myself with that steak to appease others.

Just do what makes you feel confident.

I don't think you sounded like you meant that in a nasty way, but the reflection is true. My boss says I am too skinny and need to put a bit of weight on, but I have NEVER heard him say anything about people being too fat even though he will hint it or something similar.

As I've said above I didn't mean any offence to anyone of any shape or build. It does show that weight and size are but numbers though as I think you look really attractive in your photos.

I'm naturally a size 6-8, I eat what I like and don't really exercise apart from walking. I don't have any choice about the size I am as I just don't put weight on. Having children has actually made me smaller. Some people like slim women and others don't. I personally prefer women we meet to be quite slim.

It's about how people hold themselves regardless of weight.

If I were to choose though it would be more rather than less.
