I doubt if you are alone in your deliberations.

Men, generally (I'm excluding male members of FS to avoid the, inevitable, backlash), have little idea of how to turn on their female partners.

Prodding and poking is a hangover from old porn films, and they tended to use lubricant.

By saying you 'often do' you've proved the point the man made, which is that open rooms are likely to lead to uninvited encounters. He didn't say you had no right to say no.

To the op, the only way to avoid it for certain is to play behind a locked door. If you like an audience, some clubs have lockable rooms with glazed windows
