messaging people on your hotlist

I find I add people I really would like to meet to my hotlist then never get up the nerve to message them cause I just think they'll say no _

Anyone else too shy to message their hotlist?

It's sort of a numbers game. If they say no, move onto the next person?

And there's always new people to add.

Or do you like fantasising about your hotlist people and if they reject you, it'll ruin the fantasy?

We add people when we see someone we like and mail them when we get time. What's the worst that can happen- they might say no thank you.

Or they might say yes please...!

I don't know it's not so much fantasising it's just they're either very attractive or their profile reads in a way I think they'd be great to meet/we'd really connect and it would be good.

So yeah I suppose there is the issue of once I ask and they say no then it's over.

Normally if I read a profile I like and message them it's fine if rejected ah well if it goes well then that's great. It's just if I'm busy or whatever and I go "ohh I'll add them to hot list so I remember to message them later"

then that's it never end up messaging them lol

Of course rejection is tough because it hurts our pride. However, what's worse? The pain of rejection or the pain of not knowing/not trying? If you don't shoot, you don't score

I keep hotties on my hotlist who I would like to meet, sometimes I message them and they move to my friends list and we meet.....sometimes I delete them from the hotlist as I decide it's not meant to be

My hotlist is too long, it's surreal. And i'm not holding my breath on yeses or replies back. I don't message anyone anymore. Don't fit the criteria, especially those who tickle my fancy.

May be calling it a day soon.

oh yeah i do this all the time there are a few men on here who's profile i look at over and over but i think they would not be interested in me so i never mail them cause i don't want to make a fool of myself so i just keep pervibg from afar lol

I very rarely message anyone new, in fact I probably haven't for well over a year. However, saying that, if I ever wanted to I wouldn't think twice about it. A no reply or a bugger off weirdo isn't gonna kill me.

I find it odd that people can't take rejection. I can mail 50 profiles and only get a couple of replies. And of those, only one will be interested. Doesn't bother me.

I quite like the hotlist. It is useful as a quick reference. When they want a meet it pops up on your feed and it saves time trawling through profiles of the unsuitable.
