People blocking you doesn't make them timewasters, it just makes them people who use the block facility the site has set up!

Why would you want to receive messages from people who have blocked you? You are obviously not their thing and have blocked you so you dont appear again in their search and them in yours, simple and thats what people do on here

not everyone is going to like you, funny thing called "preferences".... and since you block messages from single guys, are you not guilty of the same thing that you are complaining about?

"Guys"!!!!, how about couples doing exactly that.

Had a situation like this this very morning:,

A couple who I have exchanged messages before (amicably) wanted a meet later today & wanted a face pic (that I had previously sent before to them), so I sent one-I've just come back in from the gym, no reply to the message--Just blocked!!!!!.

So couples do this just the same.

If couples are not what we're looking for, we reply politely stating so then block them it stops any confusion when searching / contacting.

Bi blocking them it prevents the inevitable reply: “What are you looking for”

It's clearly not them!

Maybe they didnt like your pic or simply changed their mind about taking things further, thats not timewasting x

But thats just it-IT IS timewasting!!.

We had already agreed to meet some time ago & they had a face pic at that point.

What it is is that they were to pig ignorant in not sending a 'no thank you', or even a 'nty' if they were short of time.

It is NOT timewsting, they didnt say a day to meet, they had obviously changed their mind about meeting you by blocking you, they dont have to give you a reason why.

Sorry just re read yes they did say they wanted to meet later today but like i said they must have changed their mind, and it does happen..

We have many times exchanged emails about a meet on a certain day and on the day dont hear anything, but we wouldnt class that as timewasting,to us timewasters are people who say they are going to show after giving them address and they dont turn up.

If this is something that keeps happening are you saying something to them along the way that makes them want to block you

depends on your personal viewpoint (thats what life and the forums is about)

anyone who wastes my time is a timewaster to me just not to everyone, I dont care if its 2minutes or 2 hours its timewasting.

People who send me mail wanting to meet when thier profile says "wont meet smokers" thats wasting my time for instance.

But we are all timewasters in some ways, I just wasted the time of all those who dont like what I write

Why is blocking always seen as a negative, if I see a profile that really doesn't match what we are looking for I often block it, that way they wont waste thier time contacting us. yes I have a block list as long as my arm but so what. Often its people whose profile says "bareback only" I have known people to remove this from thier profile when it becomes apparent that people who bareback are a minority and the last thing I want to do is meet them 6 months down the line when its been removed and I forgot it used to be there.

Being blocked means you wont get in touch with someone you probably wouldnt be compatible with anyway so see it as a positive.

Totaly agree, it would have been nice of them to say 'no thanks' before they did it though!
