Brighton Dogging Warning

At the VERY well known Brighton site, a few weeks ago, a team of three cars appeared containing "boy racer types". The cars were an old shape grey Escort, a red Rover 25 and a little Citroen. There are 9 guys in these cars in total, they keep in touch by mobile phone. Nothing new so far I hear you say............alas, this is different!

These guys are well into their 20's (not the usual 18 year olds) they are all around the 6ft mark, and they are NOT intimidated by the doggers in the least. If challenged, the leave their cars and hurl rocks and abuse at those people and cars present. To prevent retaliation, several of them are armed with baseball and cricket bats. We have heard a couple of whispers (from users of this and other sites), that in the last week, someone was attacked with a knife!

They start their operations, by turning up in the car park, yelling "is there any action tonight" at the top of their voices, the object seems to be to tempt someone to approach them, when they leave their cars and start getting violent! We have learned to our cost, that any couples present are chased at high speed (we hit 90mph!) if they try to leave, and attempts are made to overtake and force the couple to stop. We were chased all the way back into Worthing, from Brighton, until we lost them in the back streets. We have avoided the site to see if the problem would fade away.

Tonight (Mon 19th July) we tried the site to see if the problem had improved, within minutes, they turned up in a very old, large Renault saloon and started hurling abuse from the car using an amplified public address system. We left immediately, fortunately, the old Renault could not keep up and we lost them easily on the A27.

Two things arise from this, one being that this site is now, and for the foreseeable future, a no-go area. The other point is that the "regulars" were not present tonight, we assume they have moved to pastures new. We would be grateful if someone could PM us with the "new" location being used.

We had similar thing happen to us near Exeter within the last few months parked up saw a couple of cars go up and down looking for people having fun in their own cars then decided it was a bit quiet there and thought we would go home for our own fun thats when hubby noticed a car following ours thought it maybe someone looking to meet up but when we stopped in a quiet area we were met with abuse and threats hubby wanted to get out and confront them but i said lets just go so pulled away being closely followed again by this car of idiots hubby sped up and so did they all the way back into Exeter in the end better driving and a faster car but an end to it that night.

Such a pain in the neck to get some free time off from the kids and try our hand at this only to be put off by some idiots xxx Lois xxx

Whilst I've never been into dogging personally, I found reading these posts saddening.

Why do some people get a kick out of abusing others?

there was a dogging site near to where i lived where a couple, male/female couple not 2 men, was playing and they asked a single guy their if he wanted to follow them back to their house for some more fun, he said yes and followed them, they drove down the back lanes and took him to another car that was waiting for them where they beat him and robbed him so dont think your safe just cause you see a woman

Have seen similar near Newark, kids making loads of noise shouting and stuff and yes we got followed a few weeks back but they soon got fed up. Not nice all the same and as someone else said, very little time away what with work and kids so annoying!
