At a recent party the hosts had porn playing on the big screen in the living room. This was predominately a social meet but it was left up to the guests to see where it went.

My question is this; Would you be put off by someone who had porn playing the second you walked through the door?

Have never found porn in clubs to be in any way sexy - it draws you in, but the people around you are infinately more sexy! If we watch it at home, it usually gets ignored quite quickly

Depends on the quality of porn....most of the ones I've seen at clubs are pretty lame. Not had anyone play at a meet which might be interesting and gives a peek into their tastes

Yes we swing to get away from porn...even worse when its one of our movies then we just walk back out the door.

Seriously how many couples watch porn in their own homes so why show it at parties, if the people at the parties don't get them horny a film won't help much either.

I thought it was a bad attempt to try and get people going. As I said it was supposed to be a social meet with the potential for more but it seemed to be an obvious ploy to get more out of the evening. If the night had built to the point where it was suggested then I don't think it would have been an issue but that's probably just me.

I wouldnt be impressed by porn playing as I arrived somewhere. Its not necessary. Your meet should be enough to get you in the mood and turn you on. We would definitely prefer a classier meet with background music where the conversation and flirting can begin, and moving into play happens naturally. I want my concentration on my partner and theirs on me not on what's happening on a screen.

I don't think I'd be offended by it but I doubt I'd be entertained by it either...I don't tend to enjoy more mainstream porn, and don't enjoy anything that looks/sounds too fake (yes I know porn isn't 'real' but some is so blatantly fake). Think volume would come into it too... If I was trying to make conversion over some woman screaming it'd kill the mood slightly
