Does everybody have a swinging phone as alongside a "normal" phone?

If all have swinging phones for security reasons, at what point do you give the number out?

I am planing to meet a lady within a few hours but she will still not give the number.

Am I being led up the garden path?

Where are you meeting?

If it's five minutes down the road and a public venue? I wouldn't worry.

If it's her place/a hotel/a layby and you've been given the address but no number?

I would be very sceptical about someone who wouldn't give a number. I haven't met before without getting a number, chatted etc.

not necessarily, I don't have a swinging phone and I never give my number out, I don't want guys off here calling and texting me all day and night, I use fab to find and arrange meet, when I log off I don't want people on here contacting me, but I'm not leading anyone up the garden path I have had many meets, not handing stranger on a sex site your phone number does not make you a time waster

I have a swing phone so often exchange numbers fairly early on..it just makes it easier fire organising the meet and having a chat beforehand. I wouldn't meet someone without swapping numbers and a quick chat.

I used to always swing the phone when it had a cord. It's rubbish you can't now.

Yes keep a separate phone so no problem in giving out my number Avoids wasting tine as well. In fact I would prefer if you were allowed to post your number on site as some people want instant meets.

I don't always give my number out. Friends on here have it. Thats all. If someone refused to meet cos I wouldn't talk to them then thats up to them. Wouldn't change my mind.

I don't have a swinging phone. Just the one. I am happy to give the number after a few messages. A lot of people use instant messaging like kik.

It maybe that she is being careful. I wouldn't have a problem with a single female not giving out her number. The only way to find out for sure is to turn up at the venue. Doesn't mean she's a timewaster. Doesn't mean she's not. But she might think you are if you didn't turn up.

No reason to not have a number and a chat.

If they dont want to give you a call to verify things, they cannot be serious about meeting.

What are you going to do otherwise - wave an umbrella in the air.

I don't see why people think it's necessary. Only one of my meets has had my phone number before a meet and many still don't have it now even though there have been repeats! I neither like talking on the phone or exposing any information that leads to me.

If anyone wants to meet but won't before a phone call then I simply decline to meet. Usually, the conversations I have with potential meets via messages are enough to ascertain if we are both genuine or not.

I take it you meet at clubs then? As arriving at your home would be personal info?

I have one phone , I give my number out a lot. It's my way of getting to know someone. Only once had a problem before I could block and that was easy to solve by ignoring.

Some just what's app me.

To their credit not one has abused this. In turn, neither do I. Proper swingers know the rules!

Find it difficult to verify someone is genuinely single without a phone number. If theres any reason I suspect they may be attached, I wouldn't meet without their number and chatting on the phone/texting beforehand.

no just use our own phones - lots of friends with F after their names - anybody who gives us grief or unwanted for any reason gets blocked on the phone - we text before ringing etc - only had one that we needed to block

Were getting a payg sin for an old phone , Vera was on fab as a single and still gets random texts and calls off guys saying remember me!!! Lol we got a couple kik account too to stop idiots, we may of been unlucky but we've had some hassle

I gave my number to a chap and expecting him to give me his by the next message, but re rang that second and it was "number witheld" which means you cant block it if you need to, not the dynamic I was looking for

I have a Moto G2 smart phone with dual sim cards built in, so 1 phone with 2 numbers.

Not everyone in this world is benign so until I know someone is safe they get the PAYG throwaway number.

Sounds odd as in this day and age you can get a dirt cheap payg 3 sim at 3p a min which is nothing and just about everyone has an old serviceable phone.
