I know you can get premium service by becoming site support person.

is time fab become a coloured instead of black and white graphics.

I think yearly subscription of £30 is reasonable and affordable to most people's. Folks do you concur with me.? If not.what is your position?

we pay about that with site support which gets rid of ads. Filters and common sense out timewasters for us...

Just interested to know how you think it wil get rid of timewasters?

I think timewasters will pay as many get off on being chased &knowing they can pull, however many are too scared to do it.I used to belong to a site that charged &my feeling is their were even more timewasters on it.

I pay gold which is 60 a year already.so paying 30 per year would be cheaper for everyone, giving everyone the benefits of gold member and more benefits for the timewasters, I dont think that would stop them

Sorry, but I don't quite see what extra features are needed or specific advantage would result from making Fab a pay site.

we are on local swingers which is very expensive for single guys,but there are still single guys willing to pay to be on there and be timewasters,just accept that timewasters and swinging go together like bacon and eggs or fish and chips,they are a fact of life if your a swinger!

We get alot of messages from accounts that disappear the next day stuff like that would stop with paid! People aren't going to create a profile spend a fiver and delete it the next day etc. Cam chat is open to all to see etc personally ( I don't know if these are in place) Id make it all messages can only be sent via a supporters profile all cams can only be viewed from supporters profile, and all pics public or not are supporters only, then anyone can use the forum to speak but not over pm

Time wasters will always waste time.

What additional features do you think we need?

A new colour scheme or fancy graphics would be a gimmick that would just slow down the site for those of us who browse via mobile out in the sticks and struggle to get a steady signal.

Making credit card payments that appear on bills will put off those who wish to remain discreet about being on here.

It may also put off the curious people just setting off on their swinging journey.

I am sure that the majority of people started here as free members, took their time to see if it was for them before becoming site supporters. I understand there are running costs, but as a site set up by swingers, for swingers, surely the appeal is that it has remained true to that.

Filters can eliminate newbies and non supporters. Now if you think it is better to use credit card payment as a means of stopping single cheating guys...

what I mean is im gold at the moment paying my 60 a year.if it became a 30 a year for everybody it would be with all the benefits of a gold supporter.

im happy paying the fiver straight of my phone it suits me, people can use the site for nothing,5 for 60 days or 5 for 30 days.its the sites encouragement for better options to suit the individual, im sure they make anough money or it would have turned into a more expensive site long time ago.

We get shed loads of emails from people who've been here 6 months/12 months, no veris and no pic verified.

I know a lot of members are meet verifies etc without having been photo verified, but I don't see the hardship in taking a pic of you both, with your username on it, and maybe make it mandatory to put the date it's taken on the bit of paper too, thus stopping those who steal people's veri photos (we've seen many profiles where people actually show there veri photos, which is open to them being copied and used to open a fake account)!!!!

I think it would a lot of the pretenders and single (actually married) peeps from being here!!!

Think we are conflicted on this one; we are already gold members and are happy to pay.

There are many things which are good and bad about this site but would making everybody pay really change things we suspect not. Agree that making somebody pay would stop the pop up profiles but they are easily blocked/ignored/filtered out with very little effort and as somebody earlier said the free status of the site allows people to try it .

When we were starting out last year this site attracted us because it was free/cheaper than others and so allowed us to dip our toe in the water, being asked to pay from the start would probably have put us off and we would have missed out on meeting some wonderful people and having a great time.

The very fact that there is no pressure to become a paid member on here, is what attracted me to it.

I'm confident to say that many people also joined for the same reason. I will continue to be a site supporter but if pushed into anything in life, I usually reject it.

There are alot of people with no photo verification who have many meet verifications, so doesn't mean a photo veri would make you anymore genuine.

Alot of people like me blocked non verified people, photo verified can get through the block, alot of us can see photo verified over a year are not really going to meet.

A person being a gold member doesn't make them anymore genuine than a non site supporter either as I have met alot of people that don't pay.as I said before I like it as it is maybe because I've only encountered one timewaster (got stood up) so I'm happy with it as it is

We get shed loads of emails from people who've been here 6 months/12 months, no veris and no pic verified.

I know a lot of members are meet verifies etc without having been photo verified, but I don't see the hardship in taking a pic of you both, with your username on it, and maybe make it mandatory to put the date it's taken on the bit of paper too, thus stopping those who steal people's veri photos (we've seen many profiles where people actually show there veri photos, which is open to them being copied and used to open a fake account)!!!!

I think it would a lot of the pretenders and single (actually married) peeps from being here!!!"

Or maybe just block unverified members from contacting you?

We will leave this site rather than get photo-verified

I think that some people suggest this thinking it will eliminate some of the opposition and increase their chances.

But we know plenty of people who like ourselves are far from reliant on this site for meets. We'd leave if payment was mandatory (though we are site-supporters) simply because so few of our meets come directly from here.

Because photo verification is utterly pointless in my opinion. And I'm too principled/stubborn do anything that I view as pointless. Plus a picture of me holding a piece of paper with the site name on it is potentially far more incriminating than anything we have on here

A certain adult site charges (males) $180 a year with "guarantees to get laid", yet its full or time wasters and passport-seeking scam artists. Trust me, Fabs going commercial won't stop the time wasters.

Leave things as they are please. This is the best site around for finding fun. We've been on some of the so called pay sites and haven't had a single meet off them.

You find people are too far away, Who wants contact form ho flung dung in inner mongolia for goodness sake. Others are up their own arses and people that faff around and never meet. They are also full of advertisments for cruises and stuff and you get bombarded with junk into your inbox.

No please leave fab alone. It is the best site on the internet.

The reason fabs has a lot of members is because it is free. Like you said there are many other pay sites out there so if you feel these provide the facilities you like why dont you pay membership to those sites and leave fabs?

Once you make membership fees compulsary the site will lose members with that you lose choice. Fabs is one site which is exclusively free and long may it remain so.

One of the other sites i use is now a pay site (although i have been there so long im still a free member there) and there are still plenty of timewassters there

Also there are lots of people here simply cus it is a free site .... we dont want less choice lol

Just a thought !

Why not leave as is but new members must be site verified within say 14 days of joining ? Otherwise the site can remove their profile that may help deter time wasters ! Agree with previous post as well just use filters to block non verified users

Another site I am on has different rates, free with limited access, monthly fee, annual fee or lifetime membership. The lifetime membership was £50 five years ago. I think a lifetime membership set at £75 initially would work well. You should always keep the free option though as this does help to introduce new people.

When you look back in time there have been loads of times where trying to make things better have actually managed totally the opposite and ruined what was good about the thing before the change occurred ?

The way ahead is to leave the site alone and let individuals make blocking choices etc

To agree with a post above asking for people to become members may actually put new people off.

Many of the new members that come and go within a few days may not be timewasters. They may be curious about swinging find they dont like it and leave. However some may stay if you ask for fees upfront you eill lose members without a doubt

What I mean is, the fee paying supporters, many of whom are long time members, should be given the option of a lifetime membership. It will be more expensive than a run of the mill monthy/annual membership but it is worth it.
