Being owned and ownership

Morning all you sexy fabsters.

Just wanted to hear about your _iews of ownership and being owned.

What exactly does it entail?

What aspects do you like about it?

How do you go about being owned?

What should the partner be feeling, and how to make them feel that way.

I've seen a few pictures whereby the lady has writing across them.

Angus & Findhorn

Having seen people post on this subject over the years, I still don't understand it. Each to their own thou..

But I think, my personal opinion and mine alone with no other influence.... but mine alone

I think it's daft.

Google it

I loved being owned, a sense of protection, affection and never felt like I was being forced into anything.

Still got my collar and padlocks but no master *sniffles*

Sometimes its good to have someone making decisions for you ...as long as you Totally trust them and they respect you

Such a complex subject for so early in the morning.

In my humble opinion it is about acceptance. In the off site world where a threesome is defined as kinky, the complex interactions of a sub/dom relationship is missed for the Sunday Sport Miss Whiplash headlines.

A good sub will be exercising ultimate control. The trust of a sub has to be earnt. Equally a Dom can only work within the limits dictated by the sub.

As with anything there are limits and levels. I enjoy exercising control, I enjoy being controlled. I also am incapable of causing pain... so a lady asking me to spank them raw is going to be sadly disappointed. But then tgat is only an aspect of some peoples play!

Sorry, what was the question again?

Ah yes. I like a bit of tie and tease with trusted friends

I don't understand why anyone would want to be owned but I guess it's because I'm not that type of person who would thrive on it.

Our relationship is based on mutual equality and respect.

We discuss everything and make joint decisions. This way neither of us feel we are manipulated into doing things we really dont want or like.

We dont understand or like Sub/Dom inflicting pain or the like but there are many whose boat it floates. Good luck to those.

Thanks for the replies.

I understand about dom/sub relationships, but that's different, cause your effectively forcing someone to do something they don't want to.

But being owned is different, cause its about the person being with me and not there partner surely.

I guess this is where boundaries start to become blurred lines between, master/slave, sub/dom and being owned.

I've been in and experienced master/slave orelationships before, but wanted to know about owning in particular.

Absolutely this. In the bedroom I have to trust you enough to hand over all control, but when I do it's all yours.

But my day to day self I own myself, my own life and own all my own decisions!

I Don't think you do understand the Dom/Sub relationship, they should never be forced into doing something they dont want to do.

Ask the person themselves because there are different ways of being owned.

My x just wanted me to own him sexually, but another wanted me to tell him how to dress and choose how we spent our time together and asked for permission to do anything, most if them enjoy humiliation and think their master ( in my case mistress or goddess) is perfect who can do no wrong so there is a high degree of responsibility here and exploitation if that could lead to your sub becoming depressed and you have to ensure their needs are met as well as your own.

Ive seen womens profiles stating that they are owned by certain men and mens profiles staing they own certain women,a lot of the time I think its just sexual territory marking and not a proper relationship at all,so I have no respect for them as I would for a couple that have chosen that lifestyle

A few weeks down the line they're usually owned by someone else anyway

Meant of and not if in last reply a cpl of times

What I like about it? Being worshipped and treated like I actually matter (as a mum of 4 this is important sometimes). And it's horny as fuck seeing your partner so turned on, my subs tend to be way more expressive than regular meets.

There also has to be a huge amount of trust for me to be able to play this way with someone coz I would feel awful if I messed with anyone's head by accident.

We don't have an owner/ owned relationship, we have a dom/ sub relationship which is completely different

Some people get confused between the two

Maybe missed the point about a sub offering submission, assuming the dom just takes it?

Well hence the reason I was saying that boundaries can soon become blurred lines.

Absolutely, will be asking explicitly what they want and looking for as to cater for everyones needs.

Its also about ensuring everyone involved is happy as well.

Thanks for the replies guys, keep them coming.

Any more

Also ask if there's anything they don't like or any words they don't like to be used on them, you could use a safety word but if your sub goes into subspace then they will tune out and might forget to use a safety word or do something they never wanted to do (have had this happen with my ex and myself once).

You do know a Dom does not force a sub to do anything???? A sub has the right to say no.
