Hidden profiles

Question, I've been chatting to someone for a short while only today they've hidden their profile, can they still receive a message from me (we're still linked as friends btw) ?

Yes they can. Sometimes women hide profiles to stop all the mail x

I hide my profile all the time, sometimes to take a break, sometimes when I'm not online and sometimes when I want to read the forums and chat to friends without being bothered. Anyone can message a hidden profile.
