If you're a newbie, it might be wise to start on less sensitive areas than your clit and nipples.

money saving tip is to buy coloured candles from wilkos,i found that they melt at a lower temperature than ordinary candles and are a lot cheaper than the ones you bought,personally i love wax melted on my nipples and on my cock n balls it drives me crazy lol.would love to see some pics when you've dabbled.
