Any shift workers/ nurses etc on here who have to do the night shift at times?

Another hour til freedom for me and on again tonight.

i have done overnight shifts before - didnt affect me too much as i sleep very little at the best of times

I can handle working the night and staying awake, it's the sleeping in the day I could never do.

Yeah on nights again tonight now. Lordy they're bastards. Can't wait to sleep all day tomorrow

I've been working shifts for 10 years now , I still haven't found the secret of sleeping during the day.

Any tips would be appreciated.

We work almost exclusively opposite shifts - he Monday to Thursday long days and she Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (nurse too!). We make up for it on the nights we're together but it does get frustrating

God I knew nurses were meant to be sexy - I didn't realise so many were . I guess it's not a myth after all . Get me into hospital in hull .

Yeah :/ when it's 3 in the morning, all patients are asleep and you're feeling the sleepiness hit..passes time and keeps ya awake
