Just talked a woman out of meeting me

Hi all, just thought I'd put this out there see if any of you have come across this before.

I arranged to meet a couple, and after discussions about whys what's and where etc. the woman said she was doing it to make her husband happy. So I declined the meet. Is that a bad thing to do? It just felt wrong have any of you encountered this before

Think I dodged a bullet to be fair. They were verified but not on the site long so I recon I could have ended up in the middle of a domestic with my pants down

No, it's not wrong. It's perfect in fact. There's a lot of women on here who are only here to satisfy their partners, which is wrong. You did a good thing, and let's face it, it wouldn't be a good meet anyway because old mr conscious would come out to play.

It's a shame people feel forced into things to keep their partners happy, but sadly some people are like that C x

Wasn't doing it for the brownie points just wondered if it happened a lot.

Think I'm going soft in my old age.

Actually like the fact I turned a meet down, that wouldn't have happened a while ago. Must be preparing myself for turning into a gentleman

Think on if you had gone through with it and she was uncomfortable unwilling in the main and upset it would have given you no pleasure. You did the right thing both parties should want to play.

Definitely not a bad thing to do,

I would have done the same,

although I've never had it spelt out like that, I've been suspicious enough, when chatting , that this may he the situation, that I decided not to take things further.

Yes you did right. We have declined to meet people after a social when it has been obvious that one of the other of them is only going along with it to please the other. Neither of us wants to fuck someone who doesn't want to fuck us.

Definitely. I feel quite uneasy, when all the contact is by the man, as you cannot gauge the willingness of the female half, but that's just how some couples prefer to do things.

I've met two couples, where the male did all the corresponding though, and both were great, and the ladies were very willing parties

so that alone shouldn't be a worry, but it was the way one particular man spoke about his partner that put me off, he gave the impression that she didn't really get much say in who they met.

I think it's good to have contact with both partners if possible before meeting, then you know there's not going to be any awkwardness on either side, and both are happy to meet you.

it can also be quite funny when messaging a couple, and they keep switching who's replying, leading to me saying something inappropriate to the male!

I hope he realises and she has the courage to tell the truth. These relationships are seriously fucked up one way or another and staying out of them is the best decision to make.
